    Added some brake fluid and went for a ride and my "oil" light doesn't come on anymore. Who would of thought.

    I will be having the breakfast M&E and ride to Bikes on the Bricks in Flint again this year September 24th. The Police will be doing their certifications and competitions again this year.

    Light has been coming on from time to time for the last month and all the checking and changing oil has not done a thing. Now you post this to make me look like a fool. Think I'll go check the brake fluid now. Oh by the way, Thanks for the post.

    Couldn't make it to Cody but down the road from me was the 16th annual Bikes and Bods event so I went there. Here are a few pictures. I was more interested in the Bods then the Bikes.

    Kewanee Peninsula cannot be beat. 26 from Eagle River to Copper Harbor then back down 41 has to be the best motorcycle road in Michigan. Don't forget to eat some of the fresh whitefish. Nowhere really to avoid it's all good but Kewanee is great. If you go to Pictured Rocks you need to take the boat tour so you can appreciate them. http://www.picturedrocks.com/Home.php

    96F now with a heat index of 108F, but it's not snowing so I'm happy. Bring on the heat because in a few months will be up to our butt in . Time to take a ride and go see 100 years of Chevy's. Vintage Chevrolet Club of America are having their national meet here in Flint this week celebrating 100 years of Chevrolet. People and cars from all over the world are here. They are lining up downtown starting at one end with 1912 and ending with 2012 at the other.

    Did you call Honda? Back when I had my wing and had a flat in Minnesota they wanted to send a flat bed to haul it to a dealer at Honda's expense.

    I quit working on other peoples cars a long time ago. Because if something went wrong 6 months down the road completely unrelated to what I had repaired they would be pounding on my door telling me I screwed up their car. Most of the time there was no money involved, it was one of these "help me do this and I'll buy the beer". I do the work and they drank the beer. I "helped" a neighbor change his fan belts (remember them) and over 10,000 miles later his transmission went out, still can't figure out how I caused that. LOL.

    Just a reminder, The current target is: You, Your bike and a Race Car or race truck. I race car with a number or sponsor on it. NOT just a everyday car someone takes to the drag strip sometimes. It CAN be one that is just used for display or advertising. Didn't think it would be very hard to find, I see them about everywhere I ride. Maybe everyone to busy heading to Cody.

    How'd you get off that sticky seat to snap that pic ? The sticky seat is the passenger seat. So far I haven't been able to drive from the passenger seat.

    The pictures below are of the passenger seat and upper corners of the backrest. I showed some members at the Henry Ford M&E and the thought was it could be the dye or glue seeping through. It feels like tree sap, very sticky when the sun is out. The light colored spots are where I've tried Goo Gone on it, the real dark areas are new spots. It started out just on one corner of the seat and now pretty much spread across the entire rear of the seat. (the white spots are fibers from a towel I put on the seat so my Daughter didn't stick to the seat) Last Sunday at the M&E the Right upper corner was just starting to get sticky. Yesterday the Left corner started and is a mess today. When the sun is out it gets VERY sticky and will stick on your fingers. When cool at night barely sticky at all. Whats going on here, any guesses? First two pictures is of the seat, next one is Left upper corner (just started) last one is of right upper corner, you can see how much color has came out of the seat using Goo Gone in the last picture. Goo Gone doesn't do anything to get the sticky gone, just seems to take color away.

    Keweenaw Peninsula, If I had only a day to ride it would be all day there. Take 41 North out of Houghton-Hancock to 26 towards Eagle River and ride along the shore line to Cooper Harbor. (best road in Michigan) then back down thru the woods on 41. Plenty to do and see.

    That is why I want to move to "your South" Someday. Been trying to get head for the last 5 years so I could move. Now I want some cornbread and beans. And I hated Grits until I had them in Alabama.
