Did you get dyna beads yet ? They're a little expensive but they sure make a difference in balancing. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eq263AYgyYg]YouTube- DynaBeads demo video by Evolution Cycles[/ame] Look around for good prices, you'll need 2 oz for the Kumho and welcome to the dark side ! Here's where I bought mine http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/productDetail.do?navType=type&navTitle=Tires%20and%20Wheels&webCatId=8&webTypeId=137&prodFamilyId=23687&stockId=191342

Ron, I feel your pain. Two years ago one of my long time friends and co-worker said to me , "man, this is going to be a bad one" and dropped to the floor. I know now that he was gone before he hit the floor and my cpr was for naught, even the emt's could not do anything. As said before, when it's time - it 's time and there's nothing we can do.

I've had the "ringing" in my ears for years, some days it's really loud and others I can hardly notice it. I do have major hearing loss and wear behind the ear aids but haven't tried to do anything about the ringing. It actually sounds like the blower on a D-6 cat - I'm way too old to worry about fixing something that is generally considered unfixable.

Yes Ruffy - I got a box last week but I've been so tied up with projects I haven't even looked at them yet. btw - I'm on my way to Fla. but had to make a stop in Cheraw SC for a delivery. Right now I'm in Santee SC holed up for the night - been on the road since 6 this morning, time to stop. I'm relatively sure we won't be able to meet up this trip, I have to be back in oHIo next Friday - too much to do while I'm down here. really hoping I can find at least a day to get out near the gulf for some fishing tho -

I wanted to mention good service with this vendor. I ordered my Kumho on Nov. 30th, got an acknowledgement via email and on the 1st of Dec they sent a shipping notice saying it was shipped and would probably arrive on the 7th. UPS just rang my doorbell and handed me the Kumho. 2 days - I'm impressed with delivery and the price was totally acceptable. $65.68 delivered. http://tires-easy.com/

I did call a local dealer that had a sign proclaiming he sold Kumho tires but I think I scared him when I said I only wanted one for my bike. never heard back from him

I need a Kumho 165/80R15 and am looking for outlets - I've had one on order from JC Whitney for almost a month, 'bout ready to give up on them. Thanks

Somebody is gonna get a real nice Venture - and you're gonna get a real nice Vision. Congrats

I'm relatively new to the darkside (on this site) but with all of the concerns and opinions about ct's on a bike, I am curious as to how many ct failures have occurred compared to mt failures. I remember reading (here) about different tires falling apart, premature sidewall cracks etc. Just for conversation sake, how many ct failures have occurred by darksiders and how many mt failures have occurred with those that stay with motorcycle tires ??

I went to the ebay site and it looks like they mount on a bracket which then mounts to your bike. Evidently some drilling involved - it appears that the vendors prices are pretty fair, the downside may be that they ship from Hong Kong http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&_rdc=1&item=270486500001&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fshop.ebay.com%3A80%2F%3F_from%3DR40%26_trksid%3Dp3907.m38.l1313%26_nkw%3D270486500001%26_sacat%3DSee-All-Categories%26_fvi%3D1&viewitem=#ht_4157wt_910

GREAT question, I haven't seen any feedback about that but hopefully the angle is not conducive to blinding oncoming traffic.

I didn't get a PM but did get a phone call. Nice talking to you Ruffy - payment was sent almost immediately so barring any catastrophe ( like the pony express horse breaking a leg) I may be able to mount them this week-end. just in time for the rain

Try this vender http://www.merchantcircle.com/business/Aleks.Powersports.814-833-3861 He's not big on bikes but occasionally he lists genuine Yamaha passing lamps ( complete ) on ebay at a REALLY good price. I got mine there last summer. I just tried to call them but too late, they're closed for the weekend.

A silly question
Hummingbird replied to starkruzen's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
I had a 2007 Black over Black but decided it would look better if it were Black over Dupont Spectramaster YM516 as the picture shows. yeah it's paid for too -
I'm with DragonRider on this - I bought a Sears RV lift several years ago and used it on my GoldWing Trike. Worked great for the trike and now it works just as good with my Venture. got it on sale for $49 with my Craftsman club discount.

I agree 100% - I've had 7 goldwings, all of them 1500's and 2 were trikes. None of them had the comfort level of our 2007 Venture and none of them were as easy to work on. My son has a 2005 Black Cherry 1800 and it's fast and for him comfortable. here's the '98' trike at Weeki Wachee

Hummingbird replied to starkruzen's topic in Watering Hole
I bought my used 2007 Midnight Venture in August 2008. There was 11500 miles on it and at present has 16,788 miles
