Don't know how much of a hero you are when you are working with the technologically crippled. But my 4 year old grandson just told me he wants to grow up to be just like you. Now you have to stitch up a costume. Don't no how your going to make a OLDGOAT costume but good luck. Good job!

I am in the process of installing the shindengen voltage regulator. The question I have is if I install this in the air duct under the radio will it increase interference with the radio in any way? Being the three wires from the stator run into the regulator. I am also going to remove my tachometer and fix it, if possible. Mine has always been slow to react to changes in engine RPM. I removed it once and lubed it up thereby fixing the problem with it. But it has now gone back to slow response again. Has anyone a spare tach if so how much do you need for it.

A true hero and someone to admire. Thanks for reminding. A while back there was a local man who passed away that had been a pilot of a B-17 during the war. He had completed 35 missions. My father was at D-day on a LST. They used his LST to return the wounded to England after the invasion. He never talked much about it but when he did I could tell it left an indelible mark on his life. Thank them all for their service. I second your remark oldgoat. The helicopter man for me too!

Frederick Douglass: People might not get all they work for in this world, but they must certainly work for all they get. Congrats!

Nice looking pup. We had a Rotte for 11 years. He was one of our best dogs we ever had. Gentle, but he could be intimidating when he had to be just because of his size. He didn't die of old age his demise was from the dog food that we fed him. He was one of the statistics from the bad dog food that was sold a few years ago. Feed him or her trusted brands of dog food and you'll have a friend for life.

Snow days were far and few between back in the day. But when they did happen it was great. We spent the whole day outside having a blast. One time school was closed because of a ice storm. Roads were thick with ice. So what do we do get pops car out and try to drive to the top of the hill so we can slide our sleds down a road called Cemetery Road here in town. Needless to say car was in the ditch a few times that day. Boy, he would have been mad if he'd have known. Once we finally reached the top of the hill the sledding was treacherous. But the ride down in the car was the scariest. We didn't do any damage to the car but to this day I wonder how that happened!
