  1. There is alot of truth in that statement.
  2. Bummer.
  3. I inherited my fathers 1972 Kawasaki 350 Bighorn and have been going over it for a winter project. It was in need of new handlebars because the old ones had been welded so the search was on. All of the original ones on E-bay were rusty so I expanded my search to look at all handlebars. I found some that measured the same as the originals and were also chrome. They were made for a Royal Enfield Motocross but would be coming from NEW DELHI, INDIA. I was hesitant on ordering them but figured I didn't need them for a while anyway. The shipping said it would not come until 2 or 3 weeks time. I ordered them around 4:30 P.M. 1/28/2011 they came today via DHL. 7 days from New Delhi, India. So if you have bought anything overseas have it shipped to India first then to you in no time.
  4. Any news?
  5. Why didn't you know? Their the Federal Electromagnetic Money Annihilator, thats all they are. When they get all fired up they can create a frontal wave of Awe.:mo money::mo money:
  6. Abolish the IRS. Time for a flat tax. Make them count the beans as they come in not terrorize the working man with piles of paperwork to get some of your own money back for being successful. Income tax is tyrannical and obsolete. Almost all other countries in the world use other forms of taxations on its citizens but us. I know, I know shut up too political. But this fries me. Its no wonder were in the messes we are in by the amount of money we throw at the feds to do what they want with. On another note your interest free giveback will certainly buy more bling bling.
  7. I was called out of the coffee shop this morning by the wife to pull out some kid off the road. I drive 3/4 of a mile with JD plow him out, pull him out and got NADA for it! Ah, the joys of winter. Good Samaritan my $$$ its cold out there.:rotfl: Gotta admit though that you or I couldn't carve the snow as beautiful as the wind can. The snow has aerodynamically streamlined your car.:rotfl:
  8. Good luck on the surgery. Be seeing ya.:rotfl: All kidding aside hope all goes well.
  9. Whatever trips your trigger.
  10. Time to fire up the Oshkosh for that much snow.
  11. FLASH! Surge of babies born to Yamaha Venture riders 9 months to the day of Groundhogs Days 2011! :rotfl:
  12. It workie now. The only thing I want to see when I look at bike mirrors is behind me. This has to be one of the dumbest things I've seen.
  13. No workie for me.
  14. Hey any night out is better than no night out! The garage is where I do my best imbibing. You don't even have to have a fridge this time of the year, just set it outside. I've yet been pinched by johnny law for walking {or stumbling} back home. So I'm with Bob on this one.
  15. Thats it! I'm going for a ride. Now all I have to do is plow 200' of snow to the road and cross my fingers that I don't hit any ice while riding. NOT! It's good to see someone riding, gives me hope.
  16. Well this year isn't looking so good. You know what with the economy so bad and everything. Gas is up, stock market doesn't know if its up or down anymore. The polar ice caps melting. Voyager spacecraft now in deep space. High unemployment. Windmills popping up all over the country. Chevrolet beating Toyota in sales. The war in Afghanistan. The super bowl taking place soon. The electric cars being built but selling for way to much for Joe average. The east coast covered in deep snow. Not to mention the deficit. But look at it this way "IT AIN'T THERE YET"! Maybe next year.:rotfl: My bet is they found something in that crate and forgot all about sending your stuff to you. Mm mm Brownies.:rotfl:
  17. Congratulations on 34 years of sheer wedding bliss. Ah, weddings I still remember the last loving couples we attended.:sign isnt that spec
  18. Sorry to hear of your loss. It is never easy losing a parent. I'm sure he will be remembered and missed by many. Sincerest Sympathy.
  19. Tugged, pulled, prodded, cleaned, changed and massaged everything I'm gonna do to Sputnik. But I am currently resurrecting my fathers 1972 Kawasaki 350 Bighorn. Talk about a time warp. Last time it was ridden was in 1983. Its been sitting in my parents basement ever since. Must have been a excellent place to hibernate because it is in fairly pristine condition for its age. Motors up and running, new chain and sprockets, new tires, new battery. Replacing front fork seals next. Trying to find a good set of original handlebars now, these have been welded and will not pass inspection. Also have to fit some turn signals back on it. They have walked off somewhere. I'll post some pics when I'm done.
  20. Done. Hope everything went like a breeze. Now no sneezing.
  21. Tom call'em back and have them ship to a supplier in China. You will have it sooner. About them Bomb sniffing dogs I hear their having a rough time opening packages.
  22. I was telling my brother-in law about your wait for your Carbtune. He told me that he orders parts from Germany for machines were he works and that it takes months sometimes for them to come in. He says it takes so long sometimes that when they finally come in he has to scratch his head to remember that he even ordered them.:rotfl:. How can this be acceptable in this "need to know it have it now world". Its time for the feds to ease up and give private enterprise a crack at parcel security.
  23. Hang in there James. Anyone with a name like "Old goat" has to be tough!
  24. mraf

    Beware!!

People like this are lower than whale poop. This guy needs a face to fist talk.
  25. Sorry to hear. When I ordered mine a couple years ago it came in a weeks time. Well over a months time is unacceptable for anything. So much for progress. You could have about rowed a boat over to get it by now.
