    Not long ago while riding on the Interstate heah in Loozeeanner I dodged a 4x8 foot sheet of plywood that blew out of the rear of a pick up truck.....with both of us going 75mph.....It flew right over me and the scoot....cleared my windshield by less than 12 inches. Boomer....who sez even the drunken pygmies don't do stupid crap like that on the road.

    I signed on with a Outfit to pick up/deliver all critters that wash ashore the Loozeeanner Gulf Coast....looks like our drop-off point will be in/near Noo Awlings for all the injured and oil-slimed critters. I will be on 24 hour call....with a specially equipped vehicle....and be gone for 14 days beginning on the morning of the 2 July. Squid and Kbran I'll call you guys when I get settled in and working. For the rest of ya here....Keep a sharp eye for those durn pygmies and shoot on sight before they can get yer beer and Bar-B-Q.... Boomer....whose gonna try to make a difference.... and going to a different kind of war this time around.

    I hope everything works out for you on gaining a good riding partner....and possibly a new girlfriend as well. Taking things slow is the way to go ! Boomer.....who has enuff water under the bridge (with girlfriends ) to compete with Hoover Dam fer the generation of electricity.

    I went from the standard bulb to the HID. I have noticed that the HID has increased my visibility in the daylight hours (running high beam only)..... and it really lights up the road at night. Prior to the HID I really disliked night riding....now I enjoy it! Now to see how long the HID bulb lasts.....no track record established for longevity that I know of. Boomer.....who sez don't blame me if ya use this HID fer a night light in yer boudoir and it pooches up yer seksual escapades.

    There are only 3 key points of every Patriot Guard Mission.... 1) Honor the Hero. 2) Respect the Hero and his family/friends 3) Shield the Hero's family/friends from outside interference which is meant to cause harm or distract from the dignity of the Service. With all the years I have been with the Patriot Guard I have never seen a failed Mission. That says a lot about the Ride Captains and ALL Members of the Patriot Guard.     LMAO!!! And that's just how it is too when ya put on that Chief's hat....even the Officers do NOT question our comings/goings....course I have to say my average workday was 12-14 hours....and I never left until my guys hit the beach and the Duty Section had a good handle on everything.
