Hey Kenny.....Pretty sure I saw you and Beth on I-10 Thursday morning headed for Texas....I was hauling along at aboot 80mph headed for Lafayette and just caught a quick glimpse of a Venture hauling a trailer/camper.....Had no time to wave or spit at dat speed.... Boomer....who claims NO responsibility for whut them darn pygmies do.

After being in Noo England for the past 39 years I gotta say I will NOT miss the snow,ice,and bitter cold temps.....and if I still lived there I'd be way too far away to do a cheesecake run to Texas!! Well I don't own a trailer so that's not a issue for me... Boomer....who'd rather ride the scoot cuz there's less pygmies to contend with on the scoot than having a truckload of the darn ankle-biters.

Rhonda I'll take a hug from you any day gal!! Hope all is well with you folks up there. This will be my 1st full Winter away from New England in 39 years.....and down heah there is NO snow....and riding temps are about 50-60 degrees. Boomer.....who sez when are you guys coming down here again?

I tell ya Beer them pygmies are both a blessing and a curse. I use the little runts to make folks smile....and laugh at myself too. They are the best excuse I can use for all the crap and scroo ups I bring on myself.... Boomer....who sez the only thing better than blaming pygmies is to blame a MIL.... and thank God I don't have that old bat around anymore.

Pfffffttttttt.....You guys think drinking and driving is hazardous? Try doing a ride with pygmies hanging all over the scoot yammering for burgers,fries,and ice cream. Boomer...who sez each to his own...and when riding with any group that I know has riders drinking I always become the tail-gunner....

For around town riding and short trips the 404's should do well for you.Keep the max pressure in those 404's. Don't expect to rack up a lot of mileage on the rear tho....I ran through 2 sets of them in no time flat before I got smart and went to better tires. I liked the Michelin Commanders....very good tires and ran great in the rain. Running my 1st set of Dunlop E3's on the bike now....They feel great so far. The jury is still out on the total miles. Boomer....who never noticed that slight "greasy" feel on the E3's like I did with both new sets of Commanders.

2000 Venture Need more power with sidecar

I'm no expert but I think running a sidecar on a scoot that only has 1300cc's is asking a bit more than the engine/tranny can deliver. Boomer....who sez a Venture trike might be the way to go. -
The Doc has given me a clean bill of health but I sure don't feel a 100% yet....Just taking it easy and hoping nothing else goes wrong....I have used up my quota of bad luck for this year!! Boomer....who sez the pygmies are keeping a low profile cuz I'm in no mood to deal with their crap.

Kenny I made it home just 3 minutes ahead of a huge cloudburst....the darn thing chased me all the way from Baton Rouge. :^) I can't thank you enough for the help with the bike....spending time with you and Beth is well worth the trip out there Bro!! Watching you play with your grand-kids is an extra bonus!! :^) Boomer....who sez having a garage and tools is the cat's meow....and made even better when ya have a great cook in the Kitchen too. :^) Walter....You missed a killer lasagna that Beth made...Wooo Hoooo !!!
