Thank You to all my brothers and sisters in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, National Guard, Reserves and those from all the free and Democratic Countries of the World who have stood before me, with me, and after me.

A few years back I was riding to work, 3rd shift, in the dark. The road had a quick dip in it and as I topped the rise and started down into the dip my headlight hit a very large whitetail buck and about 8 or 9 of his discussion mates standing in the middle of the road. I grabbed clutch and brake and by the time I got stopped I was sitting right in the middle of them. I don't know who was more startled, me or them, because it took them a couple of seconds before they started to scatter to the woods. It took me a while to gather myself to be able to get going again.

CRS Charlie.... You must be forgettin to wash your hands after handling those slippery fish.

Same thing happened on my 05 Midnight. traced it to the wires and plug under the passenger seat. I separated the plugs and cleaned them and applied some dielectric grease. It pays to go over your bike and cleaning and greasing all the electrical plugs to keep them nasty electric grimlins away.

Glad to hear that you are dealing well with this. Don't worry about the rant. You feel the need to talk and we are here for you. Is the water in your yard deep enough for fishin? Maybe Charlie can give you some hints on shallow water casting. Still sending them up for you.

WHEW!!!! I'm sure glad that my baby makin days are long past...10,253 cigars could set a feller back a bit. Jokes aside, hope all goes well for mom and baby on delivery. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Gene, Due to my job working for Norfolk Southern at an outlying point, a part of my job is to go to and inspect rail crossing accidents. It is a terrible scene when the ones involved are children. It is never easy and it never gets easier each time I go out there to a situation like that. Each time I go out there I wonder if it's someone I know. For days each time I close my eyes I have the vision of whats happened jump into my thoughts. I usually have several nights without much sleep until i'm just too tired to fight it. Sleep overcomes the visions is the only way I can describe it. They never completely go away. My thoughts and prayers are with you for a restful night.

When the only old bikes a person gets to see are either in a movie or in the confines of a museum, it's worth the effort to get to see so many of them running down the road. I wish that I had had more time to be able to see more of them as they came down the road to the museum. THANKS again Mini, your a real SWEETIE !!!! -

Thanks for the heads up on this Mini. Think I'll try to be in Maggie Valley on the 12th and see some of them. I'm gonna try to be there around noon to have some lunch and relax a bit. Been wanting to go to Salty Dogs for the cat fish any way. -
I've had that to happen on the lines on cars when i've tightened the fittings toooo tight. That was on brass fittings and plastic lines. I was in Pigeon Forge yesterday and passed you twice going in the opposite directions. I was in my truck and the traffic was thick both times so I couldn't get turned around to chase you down.

Been there and done that "TWICE". The state of Tenn. is a no fault state. If you can't sit down together and compromise the division of property then you make a list of your wants and she makes a list. Then you mediate and make a deal. Say if you have 2 cars then you get 1 and she gets the other. If you agree to pay a bill then she has to give up something that she wants, like alamony. If you want to keep your bike then you have to give in to 1 of her wants but not one that has already been decided on. Then you work back and forth until the lists are settled. What can't be settled will be left for the Judge to decide on. If you own your home and the 2 of you can't decide on who gets it then he will declare it to be sold and the money to be split. The real sticky part in the state of Tenn. is if you have children together under the age of 18. If either party doesn't agree to the mutual split of property then the Judge will declare that all property that is not necessary to be sold and split. A lot of times there will be no alamony and each party will get 1 mode of transportation and their own clothing. Just talking from experience.
