Alright....another driver out in the yard crawling into his sleeper. Maybe by the time I get this doobe smoked he'll be asleep enough so that I can steal another pair of shoes without him waking up.

I liked to watch to see what Chester would get into and what arguments he could get going with Doc. And when he left Festus kinda took over in that dept. I still watch it on Encore Westerns.

Yep, wish I was there too. But, I suppose somebody has to stay home and cause trouble here.

Thanks for the offer of the tent use, but the money versus bills won't add up for now. I'll just have to sit this one out and wait on all the pictures and videos to come out and dream of making it next year.

It's another. First I have the mini-stroke and wind up with 6 months off work (that part i'm not complaining about) but now they have screwed up my pay somehow. I've spent 2 days trying to get that straightened out. So that puts me in the hole and knocks me out of the M/D trip. I was soooo looking forward to that. So maybe next year again. You all have fun and enjoy the sunshine and cold drinks.

the Docs did add and change some meds. But they have not put any restrictions on me. They just said to do things as I can tolerate them. The house boss said If I still go that bike would have to go in mobile cave and someone would have to travel with me. I feel fine now so if I can talk my younger sis into it I'm gonna try to be there.

On May the 2nd I woke up not feeling too well. My left hand was swollen and my arm was tingly numb from fingertips to shoulder. The area around my mouth was tingling. Checked my blood pressure several times and it was continually going up. So off to the Dr. Office I go. He loads me into a meat wagon and sends me to UT hospital where the tests begin. the result was that I had a TIA or mini- stroke. When I was able to go tell the Boss at work they told me I would have to be off until the Dr. Said it would be safe for me to go back to work. BUT, the Medical Dept. Of Norfolk Southern said that I would have to be off for a minimum of 6 months and not have any more TIA's to be able to go back to work. My question is....What do I do with all this time on my hands? Should I still try to make MD?

When I was much younger I took things apart just to see how they worked and was made. I never thought of using the lawnmower. It would have saved me a lot of time.:rotfl: -

When it comes to riding these two wheeled beasts, there is no dumb questions. Not knowing how old you are but from your profile, you are a student. That tells me you are a youngster as compared to most of us. If you see something and have a question about what it means, or if you see something on your bike and wonder about how often it should be checked, changed or serviced, just ask. We would much rather help you out than to read that you have had an accident due to something we could have helped you with.
