  1. Thanks for the pics Mini, looks like it was a great day. Craig
  2. Boy you have been busy this winter, that 1st gen is gonna stop on a dime and give ya 9cents change:thumbsup2: craig
  3. EnerSys corp. office is in Reading Pa, I dont think they build the batteries here though unless Deka or Exide makes them and puts the Odessey brand name on them? I really dont know. If yours says MO. I would guess it was made in Mo. The blems are cosmetic, I think mostly scraped casings. The plant is about 25 miles from me, usually when I need a battery I am in a hurry and go to a local supplier. Craig
  4. I have one on mine, no issues but I have stock risers. Shines up great with honda polish no scratches, I like it, but then I like chrome:big-grin-emoticon: Craig
  5. They have an outlet store at the plant where they will sell "Blems" to the locals, but I believe you have to go thru a distributor for a new one. Funny thing the headquarters for the Odessey battery is also located in our area, quite a few battery places around here, guess thats why our cancer rates are so high:confused24: Craig
  6. Deka is a few miles from me, they have been around for a long time and are a highly rated employer and company, I think you will be happy with their product. Craig
  7. Sounds like a pretty good price, where else are you gonna get a used bike, with all the comfort and features with a full warranty till 2012 for 11grand? Go for it!! Craig
  8. I had that problem with my 87, it was the start switch hanging up, if you pulled it all the way back out lite worked fine, sprayed it with cleaner and wd40 and it worked fine. Good Luck Craig
  9. Really sorry to hear about this crash, but am very glad Tom was not seriously hurt. Hope you guys have good luck with the ins co. and he gets a fair price for the bike. Take Care, Craig
  10. I was cruising up thru Indian River bay on my sea-doo xp doin about 60 when I t-boned a big ole sea gull, knocked my rite off the seadoo I was break dancing across the bay for a few seconds and then it got ugly:yikes: Never hit one on the bike tho. Craig
  11. I was just as nervous as you when I picked my 06 up last year. I heard all the horror stories about how top heavy they are and how easy they go down. Dont worry at all, with 30 yrs exp. you are gonna love that bike. They handle great for a big bike and with 12k miles I never came close to dropping it, there was that pickup truck that knocked it over in Asheville but thats a whole nother story:crackup: Enjoy the new bike. Craig
  12. Yep Larry is a great guy, always a kind word and a positive attitude.
  13. I have the 130 avon, no ride on and no leaks in about 11k miles, hope you figure out whattsup. Craig
  14. Jan. 1985 New Suzuki GV1200 Madura still in garage 60K miles July 05-April 08 87 Venture Royale March 08 2008 2006 Blk Cherry 11k miles now has 23K miles
  15. Guess you aint the only one thats tired of sitting around:cool10: Craig
  16. Dont think you're missing anything, instead of purchasing an ipod and then running a wire from ipod to aux jack and then mounting an ipod somewhere. You can pickup this cassette type mp3 player, just stick it rite in the cassette slot and your music comes rite across your sound system just like your ipod. I am sure your ipod is a better quality unit but this works fine and there are no wires hanging anywhere. Just an alternative. ;-) Craig
  17. Congrats on the new ride, enjoy that baby:Venture: Craig
  18. I have one, it looks just like a cassette no wires. Just pop a loaded sd card in and stick it in the cassette player, works great. Craig:thumbsup2:
  19. Really sorry to hear this, our thoughts are with you and his family. Take Care, Craig
  20. Looks like a great group, looking forward to seeing the old gang and meeting lots of new folks. Craig
  21. Think you need a vacation Don:rasberry: Craig
  22. Hey Goose, I am enjoying the updates, keep em coming, sounds like its gonna be a great adventure. Stay safe. Craig
  23. Steve, I used Ram-B-252u base, and Ram-B-201u arm and then the cradle that fits your unit. Hope this helps. Craig
  24. The arm that attaches from the cradle to the mounting ball is 4" long. You just need 3 pcs. the ball mount that attaches at the mirror stem a 4" arm or longer if you like, but if its much shorter its not gonna fit above the radio controller, and a cradle for your nuvi. Craig
  25. Our grandkids are only 1/2 hr away and I think thats too far, guess I shouldnt complain. I can tell by your post how excited you are to see them, hope you have a great time playing with the kids. Enjoy! Craig
