  1. The Sleeperhawk's are in Columbia. Shoot them a PM to figure out how close you will be to them. Margaret
  2. It's not illegal in the state of NC to have amber lights on the back of a motorcycle. As a matter of fact turn signals aren't even required, go figure. Margaret
  3. Sometimes we're meant to be in a place or meet up with a person for a reason. You had something to give and you also received something in return. I love these types of stories. Bet you'll be floating on a cloud for a while as will that mother and daughter. Margaret
  4. Here's a couple of more pics of BB's bikes. She's a trip see how many of you can guess the equations? Margaret
  5. Here's a few pics of the meet in Rome sat. Figured I'd give you all a taste before Bobbie get's her pics up. The first three are Muffinman, BlackJack, and Janice in their yard drinking some watermelon margarita's I made. Had a really good time this weekend. I'm sure Bobbie will have her pics up soon. Plus I did see a few other camera's around so there may even be more. Margaret
  6. Actually it's white but it was at night when I took those pics so we'll give ya a break. Not sure color blind covers white, gray, or silver. Margaret
  7. Annie if it's a standard and I'm guessing it is it doesn't come with a CB. 1st gens had the standard and the royal (the latter is the one with everything). I'm sure we'll get you both all fixed up. After you get the CB we run on channel 29. Margaret
  8. It's and '04 and we bought it from Blackjack. I still have to get my license and take a safety course. Plan on getting the course at the end of Oct since we have so many places we're gonna be heading to. I'll get some more pics up later, just thought I'd show off the lights since it needed more light on the back. Margar4et
  9. Here's a few pics of the back of my V-Star with the added lights. Muffinman has already made it a big lower and I can actually flat foot it. Makes it a lot easier to hold up a bike too, imagine that. He made the turn signals into running lights as well as turn signals. I think it's pretty bright back there now. Margaret
  10. Got my shirts today thanks Tom. Margaret
  11. So which beach you going to? Margaret
  12. Ok Dan the bike has a mind of it's own. That might not cut it with the warden, she'll never believe that. Margaret

  15. Well ya know Brian isn't the only one waiting to hear how things go. :whistling:There's a few of us that have been following you're travels shall we say. Boyfriend still in the picture? Sorry just had to ask. You just make sure she doesn't hurt you in any way or she'll have a few folks to deal with. I know you aren't dating and it's friends, but she's been warned. We get overprotective of our family ya know. Margaret
  16. Name of Restaurant Volcano Street Address Tanglewood Shopping Center City Elizabeth City State or Province NC Website (Optional) - Quality of Food Fantastic Quality of Service Fantastic Biker Friendly? (Parking, Trusted Location, Etc.) Yes Kind of Food? (Mexican, Chinese, etc.) Japanese Alcohol Served? Yes Additional Comments When you walk in you get your choice of hibachi or regular dining. Food is excellent and authentic. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful with the menu. Prices are great for the quality and amount of food you get, expect to spend at least $20 on main course more if you add appetizers and such. They do sell alcohol and have a bar in the restaurant. It's easy to find it's in the Walmart shopping center in Elizabeth City next to the mattress discounters, right off 17 by-pass. If you're in the area I'd highly recommend stopping. Once you walk through the doors you forget you're in a shopping center.
  17. Kinda looks like a VStar on steroids. At least she's back on the road. Margaret

  20. Well ya are in the mountains Gerald. We got down into the mid 60s last night. According to the farmers almanac it's not gonna be as bad a winter as last year. Well for those of us that had those really cold temps last year, and the huge snowfalls. Margaret
  21. Wow you iron your underwear? I didn't think anyone did that. Oh You know how we show the love here. :bighug: Do you have your wife iron the sheets too? :whistling:Just curious. Margaret
  22. Thought some of you might be interested in seeing this as it goes across the country. Starts here in NC in Kitty Hawk and end up in Santa Monica CA. 23. The circuit breakers are about $500 because they are for aircraft. Jeff has been looking for an alternative that would be cheaper, so far he hasn't found it yet. Margaret
  24. Ok So why did you need to get the wrinkles out in the first place? Didn't think you were that fussy about stuff like that. :whistling:By the way didn't ya read the instructions? Oh wait sorry you're a man you guys don't do that.:rotf:Oh I already have a nice rain gear set that I had Rocket pick me up. Jacket might be way too small for me anyway. Do ya have any barbie dolls?:crackup: Margaret
