Got mine today. Ordered it when the post was first up. Thanks Larry. Margaret -
We didn't ride the bike down. Weather wasn't too nice for that. It was raining when we left and kinda windy. Really windy on the way home. Crossing the Chowan river wasn't much fun with the wind, glad we weren't on the bike. Lewis Jeff has a good side? :rotf: Margaret

Welcome to the wonderful confusing world of the judicial system. They evidently do things on their own time line. Just don't get discouraged. As long as you all are ok that's the important part to all of us. Hang in there darlin we'll be here to go through this with you. Sorry we aren't closer to help you out more. Margaret

Hope you get a little free time to get in a ride at least sometime soon. Margaret

That's great Brandy. I'm so proud to know you. Can we get your autograph. :rotf: Margaret

This saturday we went to Fayetteville NC to visit Jeff's Aunt and Grandmother. They were staying down there with his cousin Dean. He's in the army. We had a great time and got to meet Dean's new girlfriend, and his new dog. We also got to see his new toy. After his last return from Iraq he went out and got himself a bike. He bought a Harley. We told him we loved him anyway. Anyway I took a couple of pics of his new toy. So if your down in the area and you see a guy on this bike you'll know who he is. He has to go back to Iraq in June. I'm hoping to get him and his girlfriend to come to our annual year end/beginning meet on Jan 3rd. Here's the pics of his bike. Plus I threw in a pic of Jeff, Trisha, Dean and the dog (Shannon) and a pic of Jeff with his grandmother.

Glad to hear that the Canadian boys made it down south for some warm weather and fun. Thanks for letting us know they were there. I had no idea Gary was heading south and bringing Bruce along for the ride. Margaret

Ha ha I looked it up. They do have an Icelandic to English translation on the web. But I'm not gonna tell anybody and spoil your fun. Margaret

Well glad you cleared that one up. :crackup:Guess we'll have to get the beers going early at Don's so we can get the meaning of flugur. Of course we could always look it up. I'm sure there's an icelandic to english dictionary on the web somewhere. :rotf: Margaret

Have a great trip and a wonderful time. Might want to make sure you have the ventureriders list so you can get in touch with folks along the way. Plenty of folks willing to have a cup with you or even a meal. Oh for some of us who haven't gotten that far I hope you get some nice pics too. Margaret

I know we have a few members outside the Richmond area. Just not sure whose home at this time of day. That one place telling you 600 for a tire and a week down. What do they do make the tire? Sorry. Good luck and I hope you can get the tire fixed. If you were down here I'd just call my dealer, but we're a wee bit south of where you are. Little too far to ride till you get the tire fixed. When my daughter got her license it was the same price for a boy or a girl. Didn't matter. So we got her on our insurance and then after a while set it up with the insurance company for her to have her own. Worked out well for her they counted her time on our insurance, which they usually don't do. Good luck Don. Before you know it he'll be off to college. It really does go that fast. Margaret

I had something like that happen to me. It wasn't an off ramp but a left turn lane and the guy going from the right lane across to the turn lane was driving a logging truck. Guess he figured he was bigger then the rest of us. Luckily we were coming up on a light and our speed was 45 at the time. Glad you're wife was able to handle the whole thing so well and nobody got hurt. Must have been really scary. Margaret

Well also on the up side, we do have members in Indiana. I'm sure they'd love to buy you a cup of coffee. Also glad things seem to be getting back to normal for you and Eileen. Give her a big hug from us at least once a day. Margaret
-
Gary you know we're always here for you. We'll never forget Leslie and how much she enjoyed her time riding with you. You hang in there. Hope that hug holds you over till next year when I see you at Don's. Margaret

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you feel bad. Here's a big hug to make it all better. Margaret

Looks like whatever was wrong with Chat is now fixed. We can get back in and the music seems to be working. (I put a few extra quarters in) So some of us can now relax that we can get in when we want to. Margaret
