Driver painting nails kills biker at stoplight.
mini-muffin replied to FutureVentures's topic in Watering Hole
Thanks for keeping us up on this one. I too hope for a 5 yr sentence, but it probably will be probation. Guess we'll all find out in June. That other accident (bkuhr posted) where the guy hit the bikers and killed 2 and got a not guilty is nuts. I'd love to know what the juror's were thinking in that one. Guess they never lost a loved one on a bike to an idiot in a cage. Margaret -
Wow go away for a weekend and Calamari shows up. Been a while since he's been on. Guess he misses you Squid, now that you live in TX. Margaret

The head is the reference to where the potty hole use to be way back in the day. Here's a full description for ya. The use of the term "head" to refer to a ship's toilet dates to at least as early as 1708, when Woodes Rogers (English privateer and Governor of the Bahamas) used the word in his book, A Cruising Voyage Around the World. Another early usage is in Tobias Smollett's novel of travel and adventure, Roderick Random, published in 1748. "Head" in a nautical sense referring to the bow or fore part of a ship dates to 1485. The ship's toilet was typically placed at the head of the ship near the base of the bowsprit, where splashing water served to naturally clean the toilet area. Aren't ya glad you asked? Margaret

Well you didn't miss much around here boss. Nobody did nothing they shouldn't have. Or so I've been told. Margaret

Wonder if Calamari moved to TX as well? I understand they have DQ's in TX. I'm just glad for some fun this place was getting a bit boring. Nobody was Margaret

Well I have a wide and varying selection. I have a lot of the ones mentioned so far, was glad to see someone mention the Ramones. Saw them in central park when I was 16. I'll list a few groups not sure anyone has heard of, but they are more current for those that think the list is for old folks. Passion pit, AFI, Blaqk Audio, the constellations, She wants revenge, Christina Aguilera (she's got a great voice) shakira, even lady gaga. Just to name a few. Plus I have lots of older stuff way too much to list here, much has been mentioned already. Lets see the cars weren't mentioned or the beatles. Margaret

I get on the bike first and off last. Getting off the bike is way easier for me when nobody is in front of me. Now as for the title I did a double take myself. Made everyone look didn't it. Margaret

You can't possibly mean me, now can you? I'm totally innocent, nobody can pin it on me. Except for those pics and maybe that one video, but other then that they can't prove a thing.:crackup: Margaret

Ah but do they have a chrome version? That would be the ultimate in safety chrome. Margret

Wow you have no idea how interesting it can get. But you will have a blast and make lots of friends and you might actually remember some of their names by the end of the day. We're just waiting to see if the pond monsters have mated or however they increase their numbers. Started off with only one now theirs two. Margaret

Should have told them about us. If they like riding and eating they'd be a perfect fit here. The lady that owns the hair salon I go to has a pink harley. Margaret

River Street is nice, but don't ride your bike down on it. I've heard it called cobblestone, but it's not. Really scary to ride the bike on that stuff. There's way too much to do in Savannah to list. It's a beautiful place. Here's there visitor site might help out a bit with your plans. http://savannahvisit.com/ Margaret

Great news Annie. 2 weeks is nothing compared with what you've gone through so far. I'm hoping it goes fast for you. Guess the next pics will be of the new brace? :bighug::bighug: Margaret
