  1. What less would you except from Wal-Mart people? Larry
  2. That drawing has all of the old demensions and I've completely changed it around for ease of use. I only made a few of them using those measurements when I completely revamped the adapter. Yea it'd work but the new improved model is so much better IMHO. Most folks want the Freestanding model anyhow by at least 20-1. Larry
  3. Sounds like a good plan there if we don't make a connection on the road. I'm planning on going to BongoBob's NY Meet & Eat this coming weekend. We'll most likely cut across Canada getting there as well since it's shorter. Don't know if time is a factor or not as we'll be leaving Friday sometime. No matter you take care of "Annie" on your end till your're ready to send her packing. LOL Woukld love to take "Annie" across the Big Mac bridge. She's love looking thru them grates on it. PM me whenever. Larry
  4. Iowawegian got any ideas on how to get "Annie" over on this side of The Lake. Gotta get her east and south before winter sets in the Great White North ya know. Larry
  5. Looking good and welcome to the Free on Three group here. Hope to see you sometime in our travels next year. Larry
  6. Comfort Inn has my vote as well. Management there treated us very good I thought. And only a short hop to the Friday evening gathering at the Quaker Steak & Lube. Larry
  7. If not they should be. Nice article too. Larry
  8. I use a hanging gas furnace called Hot Dawg made by Modine. It's a 45k unit and heats my 20x40 garage nice. Hooked up to a thermostat as well. Its vented so no moisture or fumes. Larry
  9. Hope Yamaha doesn't see this or we'll never get rid of the cassettes. Larry
  10. You could also try Vinny & Cody who used to work at OCC. Here's a link to their web site --- http://www.vforcecustoms.com/ Larry
  11. Don't know about the am/fm antenna breaking but I wonder if the flag below the plastic coupler would cause breakage on the cb side. I'm sure it would if above the plastic coupler thou. Larry
  12. WOW. No way would I want to drive there. Getting dizzy just following the cameras. The number of people killed there is outragious on top of all that. And to think our major cities are bad!!! Larry
  13. hmm seems to be a story in the telling here?? Fess up guys. Larry
  14. Nice trailer and love the pin stripping too. Larry
  15. Congratulations on thinning the heards. Well I'm sure you don't eat the horns anyhow, besides you'll have some tender eating there. Larry
  16. Taking up some slack in the cables will allow it to engage sooner as well. Even then I generally hit set and accelerate as a 1-2 operation. Don't let the throttle slack off as soon as you hit the set either. Hold it steady till you feel the throttle engage. Larry
  17. Love the Ice Road Trucker series so will be watching the Dangerous Roads as well. Larry
  18. Brad I tend to agree with you some on the trunk lines but I also believe that once the trunk is painted and leather work finished it'll all blend in well. Size is good. A Harley trunk would of been about the only other option IMO, besides a Yamaha one of course. But those are as rare as hens teeth & expensive to boot when you do find one. Larry
  19. I've looked at the Hannigan triked bikes to see about building a lift adapter but due to the way its's done it would tough. Even then you still need to get a conventional jack under it and lift it up high enough to attach any adapters. I think that it's just simpler to jack one up and then place safety stands under the framework. Or spring for one of those nice lifts Monty linked. But as noted not cheap. Larry
  20. Yea that. Larry
  21. Thanks for the update Don. As always you're in our thoughts, prayers, & wishing nothing but the best of excepted outcome on this problem. Looking forward to the day you report you're done seeing the doc's on this eye problem. Larry
  22. Hey Monty you did good getting a sweet car like that for your Dad. Sad of course he has to hang up his bike keys but knowing he's safer is much more important. Enjoy those wheels with him in his last years on the road. Larry
  23. WOW Joe that certainly isn't the news one wants to hear. Hope your insurance will cover most if not all of the lost items. Good luck on all that. Larry
  24. I'm also good with whatever weekend is chosen. Do what is best for you I would say. No matter which day is picked there's going to be people who can't make it that want to. Those traveling from long distances will also benifit from the extra day as you noted. Larry
