    bill, since YOU hijacked this thread, i will now ask a question, not related to fuel. how in the world, does a man with three or four children, survive on $12.00 an hour wages? i am guessing , that is about the norm, for "skilled labor", nation wide. heck. i have trouble just taking care of me and mamma, on that kind of salary. just jt

    brian: rattlesnake and bisquit, both members here, have "kz1000 police specials", with ALL the insignias and lights and sirens ,on them. they were bought from a local police dept, at aution, and are perfectly legal to ride on the street. just jt

    man, don't be trying to feed me that jive! i was TWO meets that you were SUPPOSED to attend. missed YOU both time!!! lol i'll catch up with you at the WARRIORS WEEKEND, on May 3rd, in port o'connor! and the answer to your FEED ME, statement, is NO! i work for a living, can't afford to buy fuel, and feed bottomless pits too! lol looking forward to may 3! just jt:):)

    nice try, rick, but no cigar. forks are NOT adjustable on first gens. they have to remain at factory settings, or you cannot tighten the clamps down. just jt

    don. i'm glad you guys had a great time. sorry i missed it, but mama has a broken foot, and i couldn't leave her "home alone". seems that it got tangled up in one of her house shoes, during the fall. i can't wait to see the "proof", (pics). also am dieing to see the polished stainless, side vent inserts! SOOOOO, get your butt in gear, and lets see the pics! might also throw in last weekend's pics, too lol:) just jt

    i hear this "corn into fuel, is driving up the prices", crap,everyday! what people DON"T seem to know, is that we ship, literally millions of tons of corn , every year, to russia and china. it is called "surplus". i have seen HUGE transport ships, by the dozens, laying offshore, in the gulf of mexico, waiting for their turn to come in and get loaded. just jt oh and as a P.S! do any of you remember, the spiel that the GOVT> spewed out about unleaded gasoline, when it was just an "option"??? it is sooo much cheaper to make, and burns sooo much cleaner, with sooo much more efficiency! it's ALL B.S.

    actually, there are two screened inlets, in the petcock assembly. both the main inlet, and the reserve inlet have a screen.if you need pics. i have them. just jt

    i agree with thom. check the wires going to your thermal sending unit, and the thermostat. both are right behind the right side of the radiator, just inside the frame. just jt

    how much "split loom", do you need? what size(inside diameter)? i have access to ALL sizes, and the price is right! lol just jt

    david. on the left side, just in front of the passenger's footrest, there is a "knob", that you can "preselect" your load . turn the knob, from #1- to #4, and back again. do this a few times, to loosen up the contacts. now check to see that your "class" system is NOT set to ".auto". play with it , until you figure out how to "add" and "decrease the pressure". shouldn't be anything MAJOR, wrong here. just a new learning experience! don't ask me how i know that! just jt

    david. are you aware, that the class system, only works with the key in the "ACC." position? if you turn the key all the way to ON, you get no action from the "CLASS", system. not being a "smarty", just trying to help you cover all the bases. just jt
