    Thanks everyone. Tommy I knew you would enjoy the new bike. Will be in Ft. Myers area 3/1 - 3/11. Will be riding down to Key West sometime between 3/6 and 3/10 for a couple days. I hope to meet a few of the South Florida members while I am there.

    Congratulations, I just retired the 31st of Dec.

    Did some research on the internet. Tested each unit individually. Rear seat heater works. Drivers seat heater works. When you turn on the grip heaters it shuts down the system. It usually is the left hand grip which goes bad due to the stress on that grip when putting the bike on the center stand. Will have to look for a new grip or aftermarket heated grips.

    Happy New Year. Getting ready to head out on a ride at noon to deliver care packages to needy families in the area. It will be a balmy 28 degrees today.

    I am retiring today after 32 years in school transportation. It is actually a lot sadder day then I thought it would be. Hard to leave people you have been working beside for so many years. Will start working for a friend on a part time basis on Monday. Will be able to ride a lot more. Going to spend two weeks in Florida (Ft. Myers) in early March and the wife and I are going to ride the bike down to Key West. May be able to hook up with some of the south Florida riders while were there. I guess I'll end this now, starting to ramble.

    I had the same coverage with a $500.00 deductible for $229.00 on my 99 RSV. My 07 Goldwing is $289.00 with the same coverage. Both were with Progressive.

    Our Christmas meal was meatloaf, scalloped potatoes, corn, dressing and pecan pie for dessert. We almost had a mutiny the one year mom decided to make ham.

    Heated seats and grips are not working on 07 Goldwing. Fuses are good. What should I check next. Waiting on a repair manual for the bike.
