I put this same post in the original thread but decided to do it again with a new thread since I was so slow responding to the last questions. Sorry about the delay responding. Been in south Louisiana piggin' out on Cajun cookin'! Use duct tape to protect the chrome and a sawzall (reciprocating saw) to make the cut right past the seam (on the exit side of seam) as it drops to a cone. Smooth out edges with an orbital sander. Paint the insides with high temp black paint. Be careful and don't cut into the inner pipe until you decide how far you want it to extend out of the baffle plate. Doing it this way keeps you from having to remove the mufflers. If you're nervous about cutting, leave extra metal that can be slowly ground down with a 4-1/2" angle grinder.

Anybody putting one together this year? I've really enjoyed having the 2008 caledar in my office this year. If I'm just missing the thread, would somebody point me in the right direction?

I have been looking at light bars for the rear of my 07 RSV. I looked at the thread for the Pilot light bar but dont want to do any drilling and that thread is from 2006. I'm sure there are more options by now. I found one that bolts to the helmet holders but now can't find it again. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Just curious if there was a way to highlight a thread which I may have posted in. Is it possible to add something like a star or something beside a thread which I previously made a post in. There are so many new threads each day, I was thinking this would remind us of a post we may have made in a particular thread. Just an idea. Not sure if it is possible ? BRad

I'm trying to replace my starter clutch but cannot get the flywheel bolt to budge, even with an impact wrench set to its highest torque (210-250 lb-ft). Is this a left hand thread? I'm trying to turn it counter-clockwise. What am I doing wrong? thanks

I though I remembered reading somewhere that you could "mark" a thread so that you could find it later after it had gone stale. Anyone know? Thanks

Folks, I've been doing a bit of house cleaning and will be doing it off and on over the next few days. If you get a PM telling you that a thread you started has been deleted, it's not because you have done anything wrong. Most of what I'm deleting are threads about upcoming meets and eats, rallies, etc. that are long past. There may be others also that are simply no longer relevant so don't worry if a thread that you started gets deleted.

I've come across an old thread on trailer wiring and have a Question as to where one would install all 4 of them relays. I wont tell you what it is about, accept that it is related to motorcycles and nothing like the Nigerian thread in the past but it is quite funny and the biggest ripping (Seriously poor guy) at the same time. This particular thread has been all over the world. You will see what I mean as you read it. They say that laughter helps people heal faster, and I belive it's true. Big Bob's Daughter is updating us all on the "Bad news from Canadian crew going to PIP" daily and she stated that she reads Big Bob the updates from that thread. What if anyone who has a funny joke puts it up on that thread so she can read it to him? It sounds like he is at a point where he is coming off some meds and is able to speak and understand a lot more clearly. Just thought some light hearted humor for him to enjoy might help him heal faster and pass the day more quickly. What do you think?

Hey I was washing my bike and noticed that the front air deflecters were almost ready to fall off. Seems the vibration has about done them in. What is the fix if any for these?? Seems like there was a thread on it a while back but I was unable to locate it.

My antenna is loose where it threads into the black piece with the chrome bezel piece. I can't get it to tighten or loosen because the whole thing turns, meaning the piece that threads onto the mount itself. Any ideas on how to get it off of there so I can get some loctite on it and thread it back on I don't mind it being loose but am afraid of losing it. Can I get an aftermarket antenna that just goes on the mounting bracket? Thanks, Ross

Don, When I sign in and click New Posts, I like to scroll through and pick the threads I wish to read. When I have read a thread, I click the "Back" icon in my browser to get back to the list to continue scrolling and reading. I know there are buttons at the bottom of the page for Previous Thread/Next Thread. How about a button for "Back to List?" The same thing is true when I post a reply to a thread except I have to back up through my post and the previous reading to get back to the list. Or am I missing something? The "Back to the List" button would help me and maybe someone else would find it useful as well. As long as it's not a major programming issue. I posted this in another thread, but just in case someone missed it. At the Biltmore on friday they are having a concert. The musician is BB King. There's a combo ticket. Here's the way they price out. General Seat ($32) + Biltmore* ($42) = $74 Now $52 Reserved Seat ($37) + Biltmore* ($42) = $79 Now $57 Premium Seat ($47) + Biltmore* ($42) = $89 Now $67 Evidently they have a special now since they seem to have discounted their tickets. Or it has to do with the fact that folks just aren't going like before gas prices went up.Now if you'd like to go to the concert let me know so I can make sure you all get there. I only had one person ask about it so far. Figured maybe not everyone saw the original post in the biltmore thread. Margaret
