I checked my battery several times during the week to confirm it’s good . Reading is 12.5+, the battery is two years old. Somewhere in the “links” , I’m not sure I got this right, there should be no AC across the battery terminals. To have AC is an indicator of a failed reg/rect unit. Your comments would be appreciated.

Ok...I'm trying to avoid a rant here but after 7 years with the same provider they ticked me off for the last time. I shut off my account for both my own and my daughters cell phones. So I'll avoid the reasons why at this point and go directly to my search for a new provider. I haven't looked at other providers for the last seven years so I've been kind of out of the loop on whats what. Stopped at a couple of others to check out the plans and been Googling the daylights out of my 'puter since I got home. I'm leaning towards Verizon at this point. So.....any comments good or bad on them? Their sales staff were attentive to my needs and offered up a pretty decent package, or so it seems until I finish reading all the fine print. Along that line anyone using them and the VZ Navigator app? I'm fine without a cell for a few days ..or longer...but I'm doing CPR on my 18 year old daughter every ten minutes. I don't know if she's going to make it through the night. I cut that girls cord 18 years ago and she survived this long.....but this time I may have killed her. Any comments would help save a life.......probably mine! Mike

So time to think about adding satellite radio. Comments on XM Radio vs Sirius for satellite providers? Garmin new Zumo 665 has XM. BUT already have a GPS device. Other question, anyone using the portable satellite receivers vs the car mount device? ON the weekend, saw 2 Harleys with the docking station mounted to the left clutch resevior bolts and wired in. Actually looked good, but then again, Harely? Enough said. Thanks for any comments.

After the dog attack, I emailed the local paper... They apparently liked my letter, 'cause they published it in print and online. I did endless amounts of research before I wrote them, just to make sure there were no rebuttals... I surprisingly enough, didn't have any hatemail comments from it. Question not that I don't believe all the great comments about these leveling link but if there so great why hasn't Yamaha put them on as a standard part? I'm going to get a set for my RSV because of all the great comments but won't you think that Yamaha would make the change so we didn't have to. Jeff

Has anyone put in MTX speakers? I think they sound better than polk. Any comments would be great.

Looking for advice. Installed a yamaha wing on the trunk lid with brake light in it. As such, the wiring is not the best. I have connected wiring per the directions. Did the check and lights are on as running light, but will not come on "bright" when brake applied. Any comments? On a side note, the means to connect the wires to the bike, seem a rather cheap and not reliable means, but can work. Any feedback or comments appreciated.

Does anyone recall a post about an old Venture Trike that was really chopped and a very swoopy design? I think it was Gold, Tan, or Champaign colored and there were some comments like "it should be the Jetsons". I've looked through everything I can think of here and searched for choppers and trikes, but come up empty. Thanks -
I want to buy a MC jack and both the Larin and the Craftsman motorcycle jacks are on sale. Larin at Pep Boys is $49.00 and the Sears Craftsman is $59.99. Is there one that is better than the other or are they equal? I am leaning towards the Craftsman 1500 lbs jack. COMMENTS ????? Bubber

I saw this product advertised on on of the porgrams I watch and was wondering if anyone has used it or even seen it? What do you think of it? There is a dealer close by in Richmond BC I thought I might give it a try. I'm thinking of polishing up some of the aluminum this winter and this might help to keep it shiney longer. My I basket is finally here after about two or three weeks wait. Unfortunately I have to travel for work for a few weeks and can't get it put in until after I return. I have a couple of questions please for any of you that have been through this: - My dealer was told by the Yamaha Canada Service Rep that the i basket should reduce the sound but will also move the whine sound up in rpm so that it occurs at a higher speed. This seems contrary to what I have read in some threads. I am hoping, if anything, that it will happen at lower rpm. Right now is at my low end highway cruise speed around 100 -110 km/hr, and I really don't want it at my more usual cruise speed of about 120 km/hr indicated. Any comments? - My dealer is checking if Yamaha will pay to put in the original basket if the I basket makes it worse. So far, does not sound promising. It seems to me they should put in whichever sounds better. Yamaha Canada has been very difficult to deal with. Any comments or experiences from other members? Is the I basket change really worth the effort?

I would rather have carried on without all this BS, but the regulations being as they are, and the enforcement of them, has forced me into doing things that I would rather leave to others. As some of you know, we, the local butchers in Ontario are having a struggle with our government. I was interviewed with Alison Crawford from the CBC and that was aired on Tuesday last week. http://podcast.cbc.ca/w6_20090714_2100.mp3 She also did a pod cast which you can read and comment on. I would sure love to see as many comments as possible, doesn't matter that you live in Austrailia or the north pole, I don't think that they check that close, but numbers count. I should have posted this sooner, but it just accured to me now, so better late than never I suppose. We have one day left to send the numbers over board. I finally got around to putting on the Mac Mufflers. They look good and sound too good. The spacing at the front clamp is too loose. Mac is too big and/or male bike pipe is too small. (please, no comments) What is the best way to rectify this? I'm sure it is simple if you know what you are doing. And that is the reason I am asking. Iowa Guy
