  10. Is anyone else having a problem when they click on the Ebay link at the bottom of the home page? It doesn't take me where it use to. I end up on a link that has a lot of stuff not for motorcycles and not for ventures. Not the same.
  11. Don, have you given any more thought to putting a link to a member's profile straight from their photo gallery? I still think this would be really nice.
  12. Arkansas has a brochure of great motorcycle rides in the state. They have an online version of the brochure to download and a motorcycle video that you watch. Here is the link to the website: http://www.arkansas.com/outdoors/motorcycling/ Thought there might be someone who is thinking of riding in Arkansas this year.
  13. Saw this link on another board and thought folks here would like it as much as I did. http://www.jockeyjournal.com/?p=235

Ok some of you may have wondered about the Orange shirts from the end of the year M&E here is the link that you can use to get your own. There is a minimum order for some shirts like the ones we had on.We ordered a total of 7 mens with pockets 1 kids and 4 for the ladies at one time so the minimum was no problem for our order. So if you want a shirt that requires a minimum get together with the members in your area and get around the minimum that way. I am not available to order the shirt through so dont waist the time to ask Sorry but I am working alot. Here is the link for the design you pick the shirts you want in the size you want. http://www.customink.com/designs/family2/7024646-1288878 Jeff
  16. A while back someone posted a video or a link to a video of a lady dancing with her dog. It was one of the best I've seen. The dog danced on it's hind legs a lot (Conga line style) as well as all the spins and stuff. I've been looking for the post and can't find it. Does anyone remember it or who posted it? I want to send it to a friend that sent me [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HqbVbPvlDoM]this link[/ame] and the other one smokes this! I know someone with a better memory than mine has to remember it. Thanks (For some reason I'm thinking that Eck posted it, but he's sleeping right now )
  17. http://www.starmotorcycles.com/star/events/dynamicevent/2/688/breaking_the_mold.aspx Click the link above to see a new Star Chopper!
  18. That has been circulating as an email for a while now and even though it is legitimate, the fact that there are so many links within it, it tends to hang some peoples computers up. They all share a common link... http://www.northpole.com/Kitchen/Cookbook/ and you can get to all those recipes from there without the mess of all the links listed one after the other and that each link opens in a new window, takes longer to load than accessing them from the actual web site. I posted this separate just in case the original thread did lock someone's PC up.
  19. If anyone is interested in reading the report prepared on the increase in motorcycle fatalities, here is the link. http://www.iihs.org/sr/pdfs/sr4209.pdf The findings are very interesting............
  20. This came across my desk from a co-worker who got it from the Director of Information Services at ****** (not at liberty to disclose) ... Just a "heads up"...and I don't have the attachment(s) referred to... Ebay fraud (Phishing Scam) - please refer to the attached email seen below .......... I am passing along this attempted email fraud (phishing expedition) onto "All Subscribers" such that all are made aware of the types of email frauds that one may receive. This particular one is an an attempt being made to fool one into divulging their personal information. In the following attachment letter 'invoice' seen below, it indicates to the receiver that they have purchased an item from eBay. By clicking on the link - it brings you to a 'look alike' eBay page where it requests that you enter your eBay Username and Password. Once you do this, the scammers, store this information and now have access to your eBay account where they can buy and sell under your name, leaving you to clean up the mess. In addition they most lilley will harvest any monies in your PayPal account if they can get that as well. It is interesting to note that if you click on the Link in the attachment below 'Guess Red Signs Handbag Purse & ........ it links to: http://www.traveldelhi.com/ufiles/default.htm?213rjceirjqexr98rdlkmsanch frinvc58ucrdjkxnerimjgtmxkjnzmhrugt45ncoirehviuhtrckm45x You will notice that address above denotes www.traveldelhi.com It is a web site located in India - IT DOES NOT SAY 'eBay'. When you click on a link of anything you may feel is suspicious - it is advisable "LOOK" to see what site it is really referencing. In this case it is not www.ebay.com So please be cautious when receiving any such emails - when in doubt- do not to click on the link - but simply bring up your Browser and enter the address such as www.ebay.com and check things out that way.
  21. Well as much as I love my RSV, I've been wanting a lighter, smaller bike as a "town bike" I've been looking at all kinds of things, small cruiser, KLR dual sports, anything kind of different. I finally found it! I'm picking up a 2005 Suzuki V-Strom 1000 that is FULLY decked out. Can be a serious long distance ride, or remove the bags and stuff and she is a great town bike. Here is a link to the original owners page on her. http://jasonjonas.com/motorcycling/bikes/dl1kk5.jsp I'm getting her this Saturday at Pere Marquette park in Illinois at an MTF meet and eat. If anyone wants to join in the fun, come on down!

    Sad News

I just realized that David Idle/ BigTruck here on the forum was killed in a motorcycle accident on Wednesday morning. Not sure where he was headed but a 17 year kid on his way to school pulled out in front of him at a very bad intersection. I wasn't sure it was him until this morning. I will look up the link to the newspaper report later when I get time. Please think of his family, he was only 50 years old. Here is the link: http://www.nwherald.com/articles/2007/10/04/news/local/doc4704ad6a1604c796874025.txt Jerry

So I replaced it with a windshield from show chrome accessories found it on ebay from a business in northern Arkansas. It is about an inch taller then the one I had and stays that height all the way across should help with cooler weather. I got it delivered for 100 bucks. Here is the link on ebay...http://stores.ebay.com/Harbers-Cycle-Parts. And a couple of pics.
