    i need a corbin back rest to fit the 5/8" square hole in a corbin seat. don't care what style as long as it is cheap. pm me if you have one. i moved my wifes forward for me now i need one to slip in when she rides with me.

    if any one wants to display something at the rally or knows of anyone that wants to. we have plenty of free vendor space. it must be motorcycle related unless it is somrthing for the ladies ,like jewelry etc.. also if you have mtorcycle parts you want to sell new or used bring them no charge for that either. we are going to have an area for members to unload there junk. bill

    i'm coming in on friday afternoon, don't know if linda will be with me. i'm still working on her. hope we have an even bigger crowd this year. really had a good time last year. st. jude is one awesome place. reminds me of a giant nusery school. you would never guess it was a hospital. danny thomas did well. :clap2:

    hey buddy, i almost got my bike trailer done, got all my camping equipment. now i am giving my best shot to be there. it is still my alltime favorite meet. got my campsite and think i am registered. i hope you got it. looking forward to coming. bill

    what are you all talking about. i got a big tax break on my check and a big social security raise. now there getting ready to reel me in. the new sugar drink tax, beer tax, federal sales tax, more cigarette tax, ruin my health insurance, cut medicare, and medicaid, i think i'm getting screwed. oh well i will be going before a board pretty soon and they will decide if i'm to old to be of value to society. sounds like the movie soylent green come true. don't eat no green pills. at least the derelects will have health care and plenty to eat. maybe when they are on there feet they will want to get a job. ya think. :rotf: fat chance. snarley and totally po'd, bill

    hey brad, sure hate to here the news. i would consider arkansas if i were you. if i was'nt so old i would move there in a minute. living is simple and cheap and the place is awesome. you been there. if i can be of any help let me know. come to the rally and look around. good place to start a little shop. good luck good buddy i know you will make the right decision. bill

    you all should appreciate that minor little chirp. you shoild here my v-star 1300 sounds like the primary gears are dry. and then there is the wind down belt howl. i got rid of the noise for awhile with a vance and hines 2 into one. well i like the grind better than the mufflers and put the oem pipe back on. oh i am using that nasty energy conserving mobil1 13w-30 in it could that be the problem? not on your life. i use it in everything i own, just cuz i'm not supposed to. not to mention it happens to be as good an oil as can be bought. these oil controversies go on and on and we have so many oil experts that don't have a clue. i really like to sit back and listen to them. i really do love my v-star. thought about swapping it for a new nomad but i just cna't get away from the sportbike type handling. a highly recommended bike if you want a v-twin.

    cindy insisted on taking on one more task. what a gal. all the money that we take in on this raffle will be turned over to st. jude in sept. on the st. jude ride that dragonrider puts together every year. whether you want the buckle or not. please buy a ticket. there is not a better cause out there than to help these kids that have never had a chance to be like other kids, and keep some time open in sept for the ride to st. jude. it gets bigger and we give more money to them every year. bill :clap2:

    the main reason, we are only selling tickets at the rally is this was a last minute decision to do the buckle thing and cindy has done enough work putting all the registration together. getting another raffle going with paypal and everything would have been just to much. we are all wore out and now just want to go have fun and meet everyone. bill

    well, we have every thing set for the 09 rally at the hub. t-shirt deadline is past, all planning is done, i'm sure by now everyone that is coming knows who they are. so we are not going to bug you any more. black owl told me at the beginning of the planning don't let the folks forget, and we definately did'nt let you forget. we worked hard on this one and i think it is going to be a winner. my committee did a great job, i picked some winners. now it's all over but the fun. and we are definately going to have alot of fun. you can still register in advance or when you arrive, or you don't have to register at all. no matter how you do it we are looking forward to meeting you all. we have one heck of a meet planned with lots of stuff going on, and some of the worlds best riding. this is a must do meet if you are a real biker. see you there. bill
