Good story and lesson to learn .... one which I have learned at least 2 times LOL (guess I didn't learn it the first time) As for the seat, it can be modified. My butt would get sore at the tail bone so I pulled it apart and took a chunk of foam out. That helped but still wasn't enuf so I installed a backrest .... never got sore again and 450 miles is maybe average day.

heh ... I live in Burnaby now but I did live in Kamloops from 1992 thru 2001. My place is located in the Leonard Estates mobile home park (just above G&M mobile home park). Of course, I don't own it anymore LOL. I was the first one in that section of the park ... the only other ones were the 6 or 7 units as you first come in off the highway. Here's where it is ....

Now there's an idea.... or we could just come up with a new name ... "TupperMaid" .... hmmmm that could cause a lawsuit tho .... copyright infringement ... theft ....
-
Oh I wasn't suggesting we stop using it altogether .... just that it could now apply to more than one kind of scoot ....
-
Welcome back!!! Very nice looking scoot ... really like it in White! I see it parked beside a Wing there ... I wonder if us "Wingers" have now shed that exclusivity of riding "Tupperware" ?? :stickpoke:

LOL ... those are the "dry hills" of an area called "Thompson-Nicola Region" in the south central area of British Columbia. The area is semi-desert ... very hot and dry in the summer and generally fairly windy. Google map Kamloops, BC, Canada.

Modular versus Mobile .... make sure of that distinction as they are very different. My last purchased house was a doublewide mobile home. I did a lot of shopping before I bought it. Quality and finish were very good and I got a nice design (I thought). After it was set up, I added on a covered deck and a nice set of stairs at the front door, did the landscaping and was quite comfortable. The only problem was that it wasn't on a solid concrete foundation and required some adjusting to the blocks after a year due to ground settling. Here is one possible solution... log in as admin in safe mode, use services.msc and set print spooler to manual, Stop the spooler, then paste new copies of spoolsv.exe and spoolss.dll into the system32 folder, then set print spooler to automatic

You don't have to delete / reinstall anything. Go into Control Panel | Administrative Tools | Services. In there you will see Print Spooler. It has probably Stopped. Just restart it. Now as to why it's crashing, I haven't researched that yet. But I'll see what I can find out.

It's doing it again.... all of a sudden, all "New" threads (threads with new posts) have been flagged as being read and nothing shows up when I click "New Posts". Yet, a minute ago, when I clicked "New Posts", there were several of them.

Try using http://www.venturerider.org If you don't get the error, then there's possibly something in the site settings that is mucking up the redirection from venturerider.org to www.venturerider.org (or vice versa) There's some info about that here... https://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php/384217-Invalid-Redirect-URL-After-Upgrade

He'll go in the poor house in that case .... haven't been to the island in about 3 or 4 years and with the way the ferry rates are going, I doubt I'll ever see that part of the province again... unless I win the lotto

Forecast for Sat & Sun is for sunny weather with highs around 5 or 6 celcius so I might just have to go for a wee ride somewhere ... gotta do it on Sat tho as we have company coming over Sunday.

One thing I found about them garbage disposal machines is their lifespan is dramatically shortened when someone drops a fork into them...

We do too ... not only will she be having to learn a new job, work for a new boss, live on the sea,,,,, she will also be living in CLOSE QUARTERS with her relatively new boyfriend. They have known each other for about 3 years and have worked together in the past but they've only been in a "relationship" for maybe 6 months. It will be a real test in more ways than one.
