we use HSDPA technology here on the HTC Desire. The Desire is maybe one step up in capabilities to the Incredible and has a slightly bigger screen. I'm not sure that the Incredible is available here in Canada.

Just an FYI for anyone shipping something from US to Canada

While UPS was fiddling around getting the documentation adjusted, NOBODY took the time to update the status properly. The status was entered as "The customer has requested to hold for pickup. Item will be held for 5 business days" NO, I did not request that. Further, I mentioned that to them....but they didn't change it. Wednesday (2 days ago) they called me and told me everything was finalized and I would have the package in my hands by end of day Thursday (yesterday). It didn't arrive... so I checked on-line trakcing and now it says "Customer failed to pickup package | item returned to sender" WHAT??? ... so I called again and they now say they will reverse that and deliver it Monday. At least this time they updated the status. We'll see come Monday but I am not gonna hold my breath. -

hmmmmmm... you're screen shot didn't look like 2007 nor did it look like a reading pane... which is usually appx 1/2 the screen. Oh well, at least you got it fixed!

is that Outlook 2003? Dang ... I'm at work and we use 2010 here ... I have 2003 at home. This has to do with your "Preview" setting I believe but I can't be sure until I get home to play with it.

heh ... I just realized something... I didn't post earlier (than skydoc) coz I was "in fear" of what ya'll might think about my post.... DUH!!!
-
I was going to post earlier ... and then skydoc posted so now I'll say my piece coz he kinda "opened my door" ... We will all die sooner or later. Me ... when I die, I want to have a least lived ... and ya can't live if everything you do is restricted because of some "fear". My feeling is... if you don't like me or what I do or what I wear or not wear, then that's your problem... not mine. When you become PERFECT, you may preach to me and I will listen.

Just got a smartphone and am still learning about it but my plan is to hook it up on the scoot if for nothing else but to play tunes and be able to use it's GPS and phone. Got me a HTC Desire HD running Android ... really cool ... I like it!- 19 replies

This is ridiculous!!! I am still haggling with UPS over this item. Every time I call them they come up with some different excuse as to why the paperword has not been adjusted and the package delivered. Last Thursday they flagged the package as "Customer has requested to hold at depot for pickup" (which I did not) and then say they will only hold it for 5 business days. Today is the 3rd business day and they are still messing me around and I think they're just stalling until the 5 days are up. -
no truer words have ever been spoken (or in this case, posted in an internet forum)

As I look from East to West from my back deck ... every home within eyesight is ..... over 750k ... and as I turn to go inside I realize ... so is the one I live in (we rent) ... it's a plain-jane rectangular box, 3 bedroom, L-shaped living/dining 1.5 bath, single car garage and a 1 bdrm suite downstairs ... appx 40 yrs old and minimal upgrades. In fact, there are several homes within eyesight that are well over a million. It's no wonder we are just "renters". Oh yeah ... and the only helicopters around are the ones scanning for grow houses or monitoring the freeway.

No, no extensions req'd but I did have to yank on the wiring and front brake lines some... I did make reference to that in the pics. I had to loosen the right cable clamp and pull the wiring and brake line about 1/2 inch. The left side needed a bit of a tug but not as much as the right side.

heh ... so did I ...

As Freezy said... it's in another county ... or in my case, another Province LOL I did have all that plastic off a week ago and was going to check the air filter but the weather turned nice and we wanted to ride so I quickly put her back together. I will be going in there again though, probably a couple weeks or so. It's a bit time-consuming to pull all that plastic off but once you've done it, it ain't really a difficult job. I'd ripped her apart to re-do some of the wiring that the PO did for the aux lighting as well as mount an aux fuse block.
