  1. Why am I having trouble copying and pasting an internet picture to my post?? Instead of a pic I get the web address.... I don't think it's me as I can paste a pic on other boards using this new format without a problem.... http://www.cast-aways.com/CODYPICS/yellowstone_national_park_bison_geyser_lg.jpg
  2. ust curious, I have been collecting and and reselling vintage stereo equipment for about 3 or 4 years now. It is a addictive hobby if you enjoy music in a full and more spacial format than a set of hearbuds and MP3 compressed format. I have worked my way up to a system now that I could only dream of earlier in life. I think I may have my ultimate system in the works. I just picked up a pair of McIntosh MC-30 tube amps. Can't wait to hear them up and singing. My current main system consists of, Klipsch Forte II & Klipsch LaScalla speakers Yamaha C4 preamp & Yamaha M4 amp Empire 598 Turntable Pioneer 707 Reel to Reel Rotel 855 CD If you share this little addiction let me know what you have for a setup. http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c66/CNONT/sys1.jpg

    win 2000 pro

This is for you computer guys. I have been using win 2000 pro for years and never had a problem, no crashes or problems with any of my programs ever. The computer runs great but now the browsers and anti virus software does not work. I have an OEM XP disk. I want to up grade but can't get it to load. I tried to format from the bios but can't find the right menu. How do I get to the DOS promp to format the drive so I can re load the operating system or upgrade from the disk. I have backed up all my drives on an external hard drive. HELP Rod
  4. Mike's doing his Visual Basic homework, advanced class. This is his 4th time taking a VB class between 4 different schools....let's say he generally knows what he's doing. Tonight he's struggling with working with CSV format. I know it's about reading from, writing to, and putting the database into a visual format like a contacts list in an address book, only it's dealing with car sales. The trouble he's having is with reading from the file. The textbook discusses how write the file. However it doesn't discuss the other part. He's emailed the prof, however it's unlikely he will hear from her until Monday. Homework is due tomorrow (Thurs) @11:59pm. Anyone want to lend him a hand? We'd both appreciate it, he's been pulling his hair out all day.
  5. Messed something up on Outlook and unsure how to fix. usually email is: left-folders,,middle-sender/subject,,right-preview. now: left-folders,,middle-sender/subject,,under middle-preview How do I fix this back? Don't like this current format.
  6. Thanks to BradT for providing us with this manual. This is in .pdf format. RSV Assembly Manual
  7. http://venturerider.org/forum/images/icons/icon1.gif They just about skipped GA Given the omissions of great rides that aren't included in the official publication by the Department of Transportation. I think it would be a good idea if the VentureRiders put out our own diffinative tour guide of all of the great rides all over the country. We have enough members to cover a good part of the world. Each of us could submit write ups of our own favorite rides in our home states, provinces and countries. they could then be compiled into a publication that could be sold through the internet and the proceeds could be used to support the Venturerider.org forum. What do yall think? Is this something that would be suitable to undertake? If so? Would it be suitable to ask for a committe of volunteers to organize? I'll participate on a organizational level. What would it take to develop a form that could be used on the site for the members to be able to use to submit in a uniform format write ups of rides in thier home areas. A form that might include specific information about a particular route such as : Start point, route, points of interest, map reference, Road type, and riding style Mountain twisties, pastural meanduring, challenging or not total miles, estimated ride time suggested dining and lodging brief write up regarding topography, geography, landscape, floral and fauna seasonal information finish point. It was my thought that if all submissions were done in a uniform format they would then be easier to compile into a publication format. The groupings of submissions could be by country, region, state, area of state , local.
  8. A couple weeks ago I asked for some help with my tape deck. It was "eating" my tapes. I got good advice from this group. I did a short "how to" of what I did to affect repairs. I put it all in a "word" format, complete with photos, and was going to load it in here for submission to the group. It won't copy the photos. What am I doing wrong ? Thanks for the help Guys ! Red Baron
  9. I've been hearing a lot about the series and finally got to see an episode tonight. So far, its nothing like I've seen on the war before. I've watched a lot of WWII shows on the history channel, but this really has a different focus. It's format is very similar to the "Civil War" series a few years ago, and it really draws you in. Any Thoughts?
  10. Hey I would like to speak with someone that has a manual and would be kind enough to look up something for me. Or if someone has a manual in pdf format they could send or I could download.
