heh ... that girl has been to so many places already ... she can pack with her eyes closed. A year ago she travelled all over Europe and a year before that she was taking some course in Italy ... I get worn out just trying to keep track. Lawd knows where she'll be off to after this gig! One thing's for sure tho .... it's all fantastic experience which I'm sure will play a role in her future endeavours.

Our daughter Tiffany (the singer) went to Ft Lauderdale a couple weeks back to visit her boyfriend. He works on a privately owned yacht. Upon arriving back home, she announces that she's moving because she now has a job on the same yacht. She flew out this morning. Ohhhh how I wish I was younger ... I am envious but wish her all the best. They set sail for the Bahamas in a couple weeks and after that, it's off to such places as Spain.... what a tough life it will be for her .... Well, it's working fine this morning but when I viewed the "Home" page last night it showed all the threads as being "read" yet I could go into a few of them and see that there were new and fairly recent posts. So ya ... how could I read "this" LOL Maybe Sum Ting Wong changed name to Nuf Ting Wong

Very inspiring! Here, in Vancouver, I see so many people "down on their luck". Sometimes it's hard to differentiate the legitimate ones from the bogus ones. There's a beggar on every corner and you can't hardly walk a block without some panhandler begging for something. It's pathetic that things have gotten so bad and it isn't getting any better. Who do you help... who don't you help??? I feel sorry for some and others.... I brush off. Many are regulars you see every day ... after a while you get to know who are the ones who really need it and who are just there to rip people off. You become very hardened after a while but sometimes your conscience bothers you about it. What's wrong with our world?... why is this situation getting so bad?... how can we fix it? .... questions that come to your mind.

heh ... I was getting a little concerned there when Wpg got a couple td's in a row... A good game all-in-all tho and like you, it's the only f/b I watch too. Matter of fact, I rarely watch any sports until playoffs and then only if the home team is in it.

ya... I'd mentioned in another thread that I rode that thing way back in 1975 or 6 when I lived in Cranbrook. I'd forgotten exactly how it was constructed or what device ya rode on, etc.

I did that in Kimberly, BC way back in 1975/6. Don't know if they still have it or not. It wasn't quite as long as that but sure a lotta fun! If I recall correctly, you brake with a lever you hold in your hand.
