Canon Nikon and Sony all make a good camera, may want to check with friends any the area maybe able to use some of there lens flash ect

Yamaha and dealer clled me back after sending them a copy of what had been posted. they are going to have a locksmith look at the locks to rekey them.

I got a letter from Star asking if my concerns had been resolved, So I called same story and no help would not buy anything from Yamaha again!!

Has anyone had there bag rails rechromed? If so where and how much did it cost?

Called Star when you order a lock you you get wht you get, so when the dealer got the bike they must have miss placed the locks so they nned to be replaced not a good answer, But next time it will be a different dealer and a diifferent brand.

Some one asked for photos of my flag poles, still wait for dealer to say anything about keys, they also broke the chrome trim under windshield they trader the one of my 03 instead of ordering a new one. Star called and asked about the bike the other day no word from dealer.

Called Star they think the bike came from a dealer that went out of business, keys lost and cd player lost. Star doesn't make a kit to redo the keys to all same.

They also said it came without CD player, I would never use it but I think they sold it.

I traded my 03 for a new 09, and got 5 keys after I got home 1 key worked the ignition and trunk and 1 set works with one set of bags the other set work with the other bag. So I called the dealer and talked to salesman he said to stop in and talk to him and he will get me a nother key for ignition, stoped in and salesman is with someone so I walked over to parts dept. They said they can't help only the salesman can get me a key, or charge me $10 for a key. So after 1/2 hour salesman makes a key. I know they would never do this at a Harley dealer. My 03 had the same key for everthing, do most of you you have the same key for ignition and bags?

Traded the 2003 for a 2009 hold over. The Venture is still one of the best bikes for the price.

I see Star has added lowers and a tall windsheild in the Accessories area.

I think the Venture as we know it will gone forever, maybe replaced with a more sport touring bike that they can add bags and fairing.

How many hours does it take to stip down the Venture 2nd gen to paint the bike.
