  1. I saw the one Sling has and I liked it. So, if I get a GW, then this trailer will be good to go on that bike too. By the way, are the lights leds or bulbs?
  2. Is that a 6 wire plug like on the BushTech trailer too? If so, what is the 6th wire used for?
  3. Lewis, Mechanic and I will not be able to make the trip this year. Was looking forward to it, but work has got in the way already.
  4. Nope, has to be unbolted.
  5. That was one cold weekend. Dang, low 30's
  6. So it is a gravel only road?
  7. For those that kept asking where I got the holder, here is the link and info: Called BareFoot Willies, the 1" type, but when you get it, go buy a couple of longer bolts, tilt the cup holder up slightly. The saddle bag lid will hit if you do not slightly tilt it up. http://www.barefootwillies.com
  8. When is the ride again? :whistling:
  9. I have had two failures and no leveling links on either bike.
  10. Their kids now have evidence that they are certifiably nut jobs. That is just plain krazy.
  11. Your a brave man, taking your wife and in-law on this little trip. Heck they are ganging up on you already.
  12. Did the same, went with a Clearview Tinted and no more glare. OEM shields are really bad about night time glare.
  13. Ok CupCake :cool10:
  14. Ok, got to keep them 1st gens and HD together I guess. :rasberry:
  15. :rotf: Why would you throw a paper based product in the dryer? :rotf:

  17. I bet he is just wasting away, there ain't know good food in all of Texas, except for one little place called Lowake :stirthepot::rasberry:
  18. Bet your really relieved now. You can ride at nights legally.
  19. You can put floorboards on them, which I plan on doing, someday.
  20. Now someone please tell me why I would by an RSV for over 20, when I can buy this one for 19 http://gl1800riders.com/forums/showthread.php?t=258923 Oh, dang, sold already.
  21. What's funny is that the Canadians have had the Blue Venture last year, now Yamaha is bringing the color down here to try and sell. Sorry I am not paying 20 when I can get an 08/09 GW new for that price.
  22. Here are the pics the Mechanic took during Midrsv's Pigeon Forge Meet http://s7.photobucket.com/albums/y262/venturerider/Sleeperhawk%20Mechanics%202010%20Gatlinburg%20ME/
  23. Most likely the 50 amp is overkill. I would think anything that can handle heated grips should be able to handle the bypass. I am sure others will chime in.
  24. We are celebrating your 1 yr anniversary
  25. Not that hard, now that you have the retaining wire out. But that second flat one sits flush with the back of the clutch drum.
