Im in for anything to do with St. Jude. Sounds good to me Bill, but dont know if you noticed but next year the ride will be in Sept, or maybe early Oct.........before it gets too cool to ride. The 2 day event is good for me, you and I did that this year anyway so nothing too it for us...........Maybe we can set up people in different areas to collect teddy bears from those that wont be able to make the run and take them for them..........Looking forward to this...........we could also start collecting them at the meet and eats that go on all the time..............just a thought.

I am getting ready to leave for work and its 5:10 am, when I got up at 4:30 it was 21 degrees, its now 19 degrees..........balmy compared to you, I will be riding the bike to work today as usual. Hope it warms up for you guys up north..............Im just glad I dont have to worry about the white fluffy stuff, that stuff makes bike riding kinda tough........

Hope you can make it to Vogel IV, in August, thats when my part of the the fundraising starts for St. Jude, then we ride to Memphis in Sept. of 2009 to deliver the funds, along with the funds raised at other VR events like the IR and Squidleys effort, ought to be a good year for the kids at St. Jude.

New Orleans, Family friendly jazz/restaurant?
DragonRider replied to mp66226's topic in Watering Hole
If its still there, the Preservation Jazz Hall has the best jazz musicians there.........its in the French Quarter, just ask anybody in the quarter and they will tell you where it is, its either on Bourbon St. or Royal St. I havent been in the quarter in many, many years. Enjoy the food and the local flavor...........but be careful in the quarter.........Make sure you go to the Morning Call for some Beignets and Cafe aulait..........its right across from Jackson Square on the river. I lived there for 50 years, and I miss the food. -

The only tire I will ever put on my bikes, both of them have Avons, and thats all they will ever have regardless of the price......there is no substitute for safety and the confident feeling they give you.

Bikebandit.com has all the radio panels cheaper than the stealers, dont ask me how I know, but I do, several times over...........and hold out for more cash, get an estimate from a repair shop with labor and present that to him...............dont let them screw you over...................they make tons of money off the insurance they sell..............by the way very nice bike.......its a keeper. http://www.bikebandit.com
