http://www.avon-tyres.co.uk/motorcycle/?page=tyres&method=showspecs&id=1 The bike was not designed for radials so stick to the biased. AM41 and AM42 You want to stick to the 80H load/speed on the rear for sure

Tachometer for RSV
BuddyRich replied to Silver Dollar's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Mine hits the rev limit around 6700. the Dyna3000 will allow you to raise it. Coming off that big V-Twin you may have a habit of shifting way to early. These V4's really like the upper rpms and will flat out get up and go if you remember that. When she starts missin you have hit the rev limit. The engine will sound likes its screaming compared to a V2 but its not. -

I keep all my tools in an plastic Folgers can. They are great and the medium size fit just right in the back part of a saddle bag. I also keep a tire plug kit and 1 large can of fix a flat velcroed to the inside of a saddlebag. Always wear a Leatherman Surge and a SureFire U2. I also keep another Surefire Centurion C2 velcroed to a saddlebag. One thing I keep in my tool sets is a set of balled end allen wrenches.

RSV Carb Intakes
BuddyRich replied to Rick Butler's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
A real quik way to tell if the crack is all the way thru is to spray it with a little carb cleaner. if its all the way thru the engine would change speed. We use to check for intake manifold gasket leaks on cars like this -
Prayers sent. Most precious things in his life are safe and that's what really counts when its all said and done. Seems the power company owes him a home.

What are you trying to say Jack? You would rather be sailing near SF right about now..:rotf:

I don't think you will be able to go back to using the warning on it. Half the time its the sender that went bad and its getting harder to find those. If I remember right its only checking the water level in one cell. I went ahead and put an odyssey in mine over a year ago.Just so i don't have battery acid all over the bike some day.

Hey Jack. Time to move to Texas? :rotf: Good luck with the storm. Daughter called last night and said we lost part of the fence there.
