I have an '07 MRSV. Removed the AIS years ago. Was wondering if I can plug all 4 vacuum ports on the carb air intake tubes. These are the ports that you hook-up the carb sync tubes to when balancing the carbs. I have read you can possibly hook the two vacuum ports together on each side of the bike to get better low end performance. Has anyone done this? If so what were the results? Thks

Rougeray, PM me your email address and I'll shoot you a couple of files that may help your search. I can't attach files to emails or threads on this forum. Mike -

Have you tried posting on a Harley forum? I hear they are used to dealing with oil leaks.- 21 replies

Seems to me you are a tad overdressed for that high of a temperature. -
I would have to wear my bi-focals upside down to see what's behind me. But then I wouldn't be able to see what's in front of me. Do they make tri-focals with reading lens on the top and bottom and just glass in the middle:confused07:

I've had the original 404s, two sets of Avons, now the Elite 3's. Of the 3 I much prefer the Elite 3's. They just feel more solid under me. YMMV

We are planning to go to the Durango R.I. also. And we are thinking hard about going to the Kootney R.I. Definately going to SLC in May for the World Superbike Races again. Went last year and had a great time. Brian, I'll see you at the Alberta/Sask M&E in June. I've been trying to get BillM30 to commit to Durango. Maybe we can persuade them at the Kootney R.I.. I've also invited them to the Alberta/Sask M&E but haven't heard back from them yet. Waiting to get a firm destination for the M&E before I really start to pester them:hihi:. Anyway, SilverT if I don't get to meet you at Kruzin in the Kootney's matbe we'll see you in Durango.

17th confirmed bird strike of the year
AlbertaClipper replied to Seaking's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Many moons ago a buddy of mine was riding a CB400 in to the ferry at Cape Tormintine when a seagull hit him (or he hit it) square in the face. I was right behind him. He let go of the handlebars and and came off the back of the bike. The funny thing was is that he didn't change his position at all. That is, when he hit the ground he was in the same position as if he were still riding. We think he was knocked out from the bird strike. He wasn't hurt (much) as we were only going about 30 mph. The bike wobbled on for about 100 yds then fell over.
