you can go to walmart -meyers-lowes they do have a solar pannel that puts out enough voltage to run your cooler and charge your bikes battery , lot of the newer rv,s have solar grids to help maintain there batterys, go check them out......

good to here he came out all right. better have him doing some light pt so he doesent tighten up ... were the people takin on the phone ? ? seams like some people go blind when on the phone. a lot of states are making it ileagle now.......just for this reason ...the police can check the phone logs if they were ,,u can make then pay for all damages

? are the stock harley mufflers slightly louder than stock 84 vr mufflers ? quite is nice but a little talk would be ok.....:bagpipes-emoticon:well lets here it how much of a diff..............

that is a neat rack. but did it rub going in or out of driveways ? gas stations they like to ramp there drives for some reason......my wife saw the pics and studied it for a min or so, than asked if i could make one out of fiberglass to match the contour of the saddle bags...... i thought bout it for a min or so and said its possible just have to have two extra saddle bags cuy the back side out extend it to the width of the bike add lights,build it to a similler plattform that would slide off-on it would could look factory givin a little work,,,,,,, what do ya think anyone..have any feedback ? ? ?

This is odd , YOU must have been reading my mind....or did you here my wife say are u nuts.. I had mentioned to her this morning. I thought it would be kinda neat to have a camp-over meet eat , one weeked,,? after all we have 5acres on one side of the road and three more on the other side with a swinpond that we can use(family farm ) and then the list began. of everthing that I :thumbsup:would be doing before it happened..... but since your stepping up to the plate......L E T S GO. looks like a good area not a tourist trap lil off the beatin path. allmost in squigs back yard... o but wait, could we also say its part going away party for squigly? ? -
I would get to your bike as quickley as POSSIBLE storage, most times,, start within 24 hours the bill will add up very fast if u cant move the bike to your home rent a small storage unit close to the wrecker service.. a small unit should only cost u $ 25-35 week ,, as opposed that a DAY, plus other BS fees ,,,act swiftly and get well ..................... LIFE IS A LESSON HOW WE LEARN OR LEARNING FROM OUR MISTAKES IS PART OF THE LESSON...................

first off you said the caps were poping off one of the batterys cells.. yes ? does the battery smell odd .. rotton eggs? if you have one of the cells shorting out or sulfating it can and WILL over work the charging system.. you did state the batt was from 2005 ? if a cell is shorted it will have enough to run the bike , but not enough reserve to start it, a bad battery can cause all kinds of odd issues....any else add to this...

Who sells these ? clearview units the one I got is horrid , crystal clear in day/time * prizom at night, complained bout it they told ME to call mfg, last time ill use that shop.........

can the filter be changed over on a first gen 1200, that would be so handy, just have tobuy a filter cutter to inspect for metals ? ?

I wasnt 5 min from the shop looked up thought oh no stoped got my rain suit on just in time ,it really came down for bout 20 miles goin west right into it didnt feel safe over 45. made home ok . been nice all day.just blew right in........

sorry to here bout your luck, its bad here We live in south central mi., its not any better over here ,.our daughter has one more year of school then we can spread our wings and fly out of here,.OR VENTURE OUT,,But if u have lived in michigan for awhile the texas climate will kill u I was down there for 3 weeks moving heavy equpt. I bout died think I drank a gallon of gatorade a day or more,, lost weight too.central tenn. has a more temprate climate .lower cost of living .and for the most part speak english,if that makes any diff to u.,I never learned spanish, it makes it hard to talk to some one if u dont speak it.they only have 1 -2 monyhs of winterish weather nothing like what we have here ....lot of opertunities there. We are going there in a little over a year. PS it not as fast paced there like mi, either............. GOOD LUCK:337:

BECAREFUL if u are putting 134 in.! if it wont take it,dont push the issue.if the system has been low enough that it didnt work ,you need to have it pumped down !if it has pressure in it you can spray soap on the fittings.IT WILL BUBBLE .than take it and have it pumped down and replace the o-rings or seals that r leaking...134 is dangerous! ! ! VERY BAD FOR YOUR LUNGSif you have asmatahit attacks or any other lung condition u will be in trouble ! ! it is safer for the earth NOT HUMANS:255:

simple oil question

I have turned a wrench for years, synthentic oils are not good news in a old engine, I have had many people try changing over, does not interact well with old gaskets or valve seals if your willing to spend $2500. to remove teardown,rebuild, To reseal just so u you can run a oil that may be better for your engine, but NOT for the enviermont. GO to the yamaha dealer buy the oil that was desinged for your engine ! ! And rotella oil was made for use in cat engines in a big truck . .not a bike ,:255:if u use ,OE parts ,SPARK PLUGS,OILS,FILTERS,and so on IT WILL RUN LIKE IT SHOULD AND LAST,IF the parts store says well this should work ok??OK BUBBA WHO DOSENT KNOW A WING NUT FROM A LUGNUT! IT WILL NOT WORK AS GOOD AS THE PART THAT WAS DESINGED FOR THAT ENGINE ! FACT. -
