Took off from Don's before 4 this morning. Got about a hr away and car started to shimmey a little. Figured I had thrown a weight. Continued and it just got worse til it popped and got so bad I had to pull over. Looked at right front wheel and a Lug Nut was backed off about half way. That would not have been a major problem but it was the ONLY ONE ON THE WHEEL!!! 4 were gone!! and they are only 5!!! Not only that but three studs were gone. Seared off. The two studs that were left were on the same side of the bolt pattern but I jacked it up stole a lug nut from rear wheel and tightened it up and made it home with 2 lug nuts! And several stops to check them. I don't have a clue as to where or why or when they left. But I made it home and got to see some friends!!! It was worth it.

Thats what I run. Castrol Dino Oil for 45yrs and never a oil related problem. Use a good oil and change it regular is the most important thing.

You know what. Sitter for the Warden just showed up. Bike not ready. My fault was going to stay home with her but me and Tarus are OUTTA HERE!!! I have her taken care of I won't get whupped!! At least I'll make tomorrow!!! Sleep in Tarus and be good to go. See some bikes and some ..........

Was one just like that in my neighborhood couple yrs ago. Good looking Trike. Couldn't get Harbor freight lift table to pick it up so i got a great deal on the table with extensions!!

Just sit facing to the Front and Practice, Practice, Practice!! You will find ways to tune yours to fit you. Lots of hints on here. I think getting the Air System set to fit what you want is one of the biggest. Tires probally next.

Been a while since I was in mine and it is a 1st Gen but watch for little springs and balls in those things. I remember doing a lot of hunting. Just be careful and somebody that knows 2nd Gens will be in here before long. -
Never to old to learn. How many times have I put those things on and fought them for hrs when you get one of those boots turned out of wack!! Popped it right on there this morning. Now where does all that plastic go???? I want my 83 - 85's back!!

I'm left handed and use mouse in right mostly. Shoot handgun in whichever hand i pick it up in. Shoot long gun left handed.Threw football (when I could still throw one) mostly right handed but could throw farther left handed. Boxed left handed but could switch either way. Can hammer either hand. that one is rare. I write backhand and lefthanded but can write righthanded. I'm just all mixed up!!

I'm the other way. Speed Bleeders are so easy it crazy. Change the bleeder out. Put a line on the nipple and into a waste container. Jar, bottle, anything you can catch old fluid in. Be careful with it. Greatest paint remover in the world!! Open bleeder and Master so you can add fluid. Just start pumping and watch master so you can add fluid when needed. Keep pumping it thru til it is coming out clean. I usually let the master get low enough the first time til you can take paper towel or rag and wipe it clean. Be careful here that you don't pump when it is dry and get a lot of air in there. It is as easy as it sounds.

I got a little free time so far in the morning. Anybody know a easy way to line that air box up when you get the horns that sit on the carbs out of whack?? I've aleays had a hard time with those things anyway. Maybe take all 4 boots or horns whatever you call them out of the box put them on carbs and then mount box to them? I just don't want to waste all the free time I have in the morning fighting it. Could get some more of it togather. I have someone to watch Warden in the morning. Not going to chance leaving her by herself without a watch dog!! I will only be outside but I know her. Those Air Boxes always give me fits. Got to be a easy way. I'll be on it as soon as it gets light enough to see down in there.
