Hey Brian is that an Intrepid under that drift?? I should show you a picture of the wife's car under a drift a couple of years ago, looked worse than that! Hate to break your heart, but read my post on Buffalo...

Big snowstorm, eh?!!? In anticipation of all the media hype, all schools were closed. Well, last night we did gewt a little freezing rain, with maybe a half inch of crusty snow, but that was it! Presently it is snowing with a little wind. The way the media presented it, it was going to be the storm of the century and we were all gonna die!!! It was hilarious listening to the news this morning before work, one station, our conservative one, saying things were nowhere as bad as expected, the other liberal stations pl;aying it up like it was a disaster out and we haven't seen anything yet!! One radio station described us as in the hole of a donut, with the bad stuff all around us but not on us! Hey, this is Buffalo, it's winter. Deal with it!!!

I agree, sounds like a terriffic deal as long as everything is OK! Check the date code on the tires, if older than 6 years old, get rid of them regtardless of how much tread... -
That would have been me, Joe, but I think the comment was taken waaaay too seriously! I guess my term of disapproval was a little politically incorrect. In all seriousness of course I was not even remotely actually insisting that someone actually shoot her! It was just a saying. I somehow think the offended member has newver served in the military, or does not comprehend what it means to be permanently disabled due to their service to even think of cutting disability benefits. There are many forms of disibility, mental being a big one as well as physical disibility. To cut funding for helping returning veterans would be a serious injustice to those who graciously served! Without their service, we could very well not even have the privelage of disagreeing with political views. That being said, with her stand on the subject, I still put her on the same level as Hanoi Jane...

I was going to suggest Texas as well, as there is a strong organized Venturerider presence there, but what Swifty says is also true, especially the close proximity to the Grand Canyon...

Thanks for the link! A large part of me wants to forget, and I didn't get involved with veteran's organization as I felt no pride in serving there. It's like a dark chapter I would rather not be reminded of, especially in light of how we were receifved when we came home... To you guys that are "era" veterans, as far as I am concerned you are brothers as you served your country and helped support what we were doing over there. Just because you weren't directly in harms way is no reason to feel any less significant than any of us!!

Probably...

I think they wish the link would work...

If you end up having to replace the battery, invest in an Odessy battery. These are a "dry" battery, not a wet battery. It is a Lithium type, designed for military use, can freeze with no effect, and has more CCH than a stock battery. I would also recommend upgrading your battery cables to a thicker gauge wire. You will be amazed at the difference in starting!

Will do!! Actually, just did! I'm sure your wife will enjoy breathing and sleeping more after the surgery.
