    Yah, Don's estimation sounds fair. Unfortunately, when it comes to resale time, the chrome goodies don't really do much for the price, but do give it appeal to the buyer... If you are selling, start out at 8500, you can always come down. If you are buying, lowball at 6500 and go up.

    Hmmmm, Jan 15, 1969... My first wife was just my girlfriend, I was stationed at a Nike-Herc site in Sweedsboro, NJ, and I think they had a really bad snowstorm and no one could leave the base. Well, maybe not exactly that date but somewhere around there. I was 20 1/2 years old and hadn't gone to Vietnam yet. That happened 6 months later...

    Unfortunately, Don, 25 MPG is about right. There is a few things you can do to increase this but at a sactifice of acceleration. You can try to lower your rear end ratio, or rejet your carbs but for the expense and labor you have to wonder if you are really saving anything. The problem being you are now pushing around about the weight equivilent of almost another half a bike! Your best investment is in an auxillary tank to extend your range per fillup, but money wise it isn't going to help, but is going to cost you the expense of the extra tank. It will, however, eliminate the frustration of having to stop every hour and a half on the expressway to fill up...

    OK I'll go out on a limb and say Ravens vs Falcons! The problem with the NFL this year is there is no outstanding powerhouse team! To me it's pretty much a crap shoot but should make for an interesting Superbowl no matter who wins the playoffs...

    Yah! 6 degrees, not 10! The main idea is to bring the front tire more forward which is what makes it easier to steer. Shorter wheelbase = more effort to get the back wheels to follow, longer wheelbsase makes it easier to steer the trike... PS I am installing a set of risers on mine as well but it is to bring the handlebars a little closer to me. I don't expect to gain any steering advantage but I do expect it to be more comfortable.

    Not really. You need to extend the front tire forward a tad which is accomplished with a 10 degree rake kit...

    I agree with the comments about the quick change con artists! That being said, if the battery is the original, by the same token it is living on borrowed time! The average life span of a car battery is around 7-8 years, so yours may be living on borrowed time. I guess it comes down to where do you want to be when the lights go out??
