I just mounted two new Dunlop D 404 WWW on my 02. Living the good life.

02 RSMV with 191,051 as of today. Tomorrow will add a few hundred more. Love this bike.

Pastor Paul is no longer with us, but I can chime in about tires since I am nearing 200k on my 02 RSMV. I started with factory Bridgestones (very poor tire in rain) and went to two sets of Metzlers (separated tread on one of first set and broken belt on the one of the second set). Since then it has been all Dunlop D 404 without any issues. Granted they don't get super mileage but I have a tire changer and it takes little to change them. Based on cost of purchase and length of life, they do as well as any for my purposes.

I like the Murano line of autos but with the winters ya'll have up there, isn't white the wrong color? How ya goin to find it next winter? Take it back and get orange or safety yellow.

Good for you. I'm still working at 69 and enjoying it.

I have an 80 XS 1100 Special with 4-1 Kerker exhaust. That is sweet sounds. -
Get all the tests the docs can give you. This is not something to mess with. Same thing happened to me twice in the last seven years and now I am on Coumadin to thin my blood due to two pulmonary embolisms. It is hard for them to diagnose blood clots and they can kill quickly.

Old "Sylvester" just couldn"t get fired up today. Had my tender on it but just did not have enough power. That is only the second battery in thirteen years so I don't feel bad. Ordered a new Deka from Ebay for $89.95 shipped to my door. That made me happy since that is what I paid for this one six years ago. Whenever I am not riding the bike is on the battery tender and I believe this keeps the battery life a lot longer.

I run the PIAA and am very pleased with them. I changed the bucket in the hi/low light to Adjure wave cut. This put much more light out. I also changed the buckets in the pass lights to Adjure with PIAA 35 watt bulbs (very bright).

I just noticed the Poll Widget is looking for numbers of rear shocks replaced on Ventures and list from 1 to 5 the numbers to vote. Heck I never replaced mine, but I have so few miles 194,xxx plus. Guess I don't get to vote.

Mine quit years ago and I find the peaceful quiet very nice. Never looked into what may have happened and never will.

Rick, my experience with the Gerbing vest and gloves is that it will pull down the volts over time. I only run one at a time and the gloves are usually what I am concerned about for heat.
-
You will need long arms to handle the change.

These radiators can be repaired at a good shop. I had a leak in my 02 RSMV and the warranty replacement was going to take a long time to get to the dealer. I took the radiator to a shop and had it welded and checked. The new radiator came about three months later. It is in the box in the attic and I am still running the old one. NO it is not for sale.

The two brands are interchangeable. I have Gerbing vest and Firstgear gloves. Don't really need anymore due to living in the South.

Duhh, I don't know. Be nice to know though.

I would use the Rotella T and have for years. I can't speak for Castrol, but if the numbers match it would work.
-
In 2003 I put M880's on my Venture. Belts separated in front and rear tires. Can't say any more other than that was the last Metzlers I have ever run.

Thanks Venturous Randy.

OK but where the heck is this drop down that you speak of?
-
Why is it going to be 25 deg. tomorrow night in the Charlotte, NC area? At least we don't get snow.
-
Ahh Yes it looks really bent. Do I win a prize? Good that you are OK.

That is real good mileage for the D404 on the rear. I run nothing but D404 and 11-12k on front is great. -

I purchased my 7.5 Acres nearly 8 years ago. Built a 3300 SF home with large deck facing my woodland. Saw many white tails during construction and even after. Once I set up a blind by the creek and a blind around the deck, I only see deer in the off season.
