Get rid of the "Gorilla lock" on the hitch and get a Master hitch lock. I work for a company with many enclosed trailers for tool storage, and the "gorilla " lock sucks. No issues with the "Master" lock.
Welcome and good riding. The RSV is an awesome machine and once you get it right for you, there are thousands of miles in your future. I vote for Rick Butler for your seat mod.
No help here, never even heard of that caliber. But I have since much younger, relied on the .22 mag for my varmint problems and it has always done the job.
I am looking at lubricant injections. My sister is older than me and is now in dance classes. Talked with my Orthopedic and he says that I will love it. Already had cortisone in my right knee twice.
Don, you have to consider age. I can hardly get my 02 RSMV up off the stand when my knees hurt. I still want a big bike, and the Indian Vintage Chief feels soooo good. I haven't bought one but I am leaning that way. Enough said.
Years ago the over was set at 10+ mph. This was because that is when it can be proved to the court. There are so many variables and issues in with radar that they needed this to get over to get judgement. Bottom line is that they just want everybody to slow down. If all the low over speed ticket holders fight the ticket in court, they will win/clog the courts.

For sure a battery issue. Had it happen so many times on a Harley 2000 Ultra due to a recurring stator failure issue. It may also be related to your charging.
Finally decided that spring is here with the forecast in the seventies all week. Sylvester was grossly dusty so I took off all the leather seats and backrests and then hosed him him down and then washed him. Been on the battery maintainer all winter so after the bath I fired him up. Took a little effort to get the fuel to the carbs and awaken the beast, but all went well other than a cylinder that did not want to cooperate. Dumped a full can of Sea Foam in him and by the time he was up to operating Temps. he was running fine.
Next will be an oil change plus filter and some service checks. Hope to be riding to work by mid week.
REALLY NEED TO RIDE!
I broke sweat today getting the garden ready to plant potatoes this week. My thermometer said 70 but that is debatable. Looked at poor old dusty Sylvester and said it will be soon my friend. Just a lot to do this time of the year.
