  1. I have his work on my 02 RSMV. Excellant
  2. This is what I am going through with stock crap. I have Adjure lenses in all three lights but the high beam works way out with no close in lighting, and the low beam with the pass lights light very well but not far enough out. There are lots of deer where I live and I need more light, that is the bottom line. I thank all of the replies and will look and all for a solution.
  3. Thanks to you also djh3, looks interesting. Many thanks.
  4. Thanks SB, I will look into this.
  5. So can you tell me what you used for the pass lights. That would be a help.
  6. I have been riding my 02 Venture for a week or more (for work and normally drive a pickup) and the light out put sucks at 5:00AM. I do have Adjiure reflectors in all lights (Headlight and pass lights). I have read articles about the Cree headlight unit, HID headlight and the Truck Lite pass units, what else is out there, or is this what we have available for now? Thanks, Sylvester
  7. I am following every post and praying for your recovery. A life as rich as yours needs to be kept going forever. Jim aka Sylvester (a triple cancer survivor)
  8. Never brewed beer but have drank a vat of it over the years.
  9. Being of the ++65 age I am praying for you, because you are worthy of a better life style (health wise). God be with you during your surgery/recovery.
  10. Right by me. The speedo is never right unless you have the speedo healer. You should (?) get 40 +/- mpg. Light usually comes on at 160 for me but I have gone 225 miles with the light on.
  11. Dyna Beads since 2006, never a problem.
  12. You may have unleashed Tippy's independence. Who knows, maybe a crotch rocket is next.
  13. I would go with an Indian or Victory, nuff said.
  14. Never will happen, the Venture as we know it is dead.
  15. I also can say I enjoyed my youth. Pilots licence, Motocross, drag racing (legal), National ranked Judo player, and anything else that looked like excitement including sky-diving. Now at 69 years old I treasure these thrills. But like you I have had set backs in recent years. My philosophy is that when the ticket is punched, I will have just finished digging a six foot hole in the ground.
  16. I have often posted about the Metzler 880's that I had two of on my 02 RSMV. The first set did great and stuck to pavement like on a roller coaster, then it started cupping on front. Hey they were great so I replaced the front. Less than two thousand miles later I thought a rotor was going bad on the front. Looked close at the reason with my tire problem and all those things one would suspect. No problem. Rode to Valparaizo, NC with buds and sitting around eating ice cream (yea I love it), one fellow asked what was going on with my front tire. Big bulge on it. Limped it to my dealer and it had two broken belts in the tire. End of the Metzlers for me.
  17. Will never happen. Pure balderdash.
  18. Like I have said before "it's all Freebird's fault".
  19. Weather does not look good for my demo ride tomorrow. May have to be another time,
  20. It is all Freebird's fault. But I doo like the color.
  21. I said I would put down a deposit, the bikes are so far out due to demand. Might be next fall before I see one for me.
  22. That is why I want to try one. Thanks for the heads up. Probably would have felt like my 02.
  23. I am test riding the Scout next Saturday. If I like it I am putting down a deposit. Indian is really making some solid machines and the Scout would do nicely for me. Of course Sylvester will be kept since he is barely broke in with only 202,000 miles.
  24. Yep, heard the same thing from a "factory rep" in 2008. So how is that going?
  25. I pray all works out for you. Health at an advanced age has it's pain and expense, I know only how true this is.
