I just did my clutch up-grade and what a difference. Makes me wonder how long this darn thing has been slipping, I can't remember when it last ran like this. She really hooks up now. The cluth disks did'nt look too bad, a little blued. I sanded them a little (cross hatch) and put it back together, NICE! BIG THANKS! Carl:thumbsup:

"I" basket question
Caveman replied to YamaGeezer's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
I would ride the bike before asking for an "I" basket change, it may be ok, some are and some are'nt. As far as coming with an I basket I don't know and a new design... I hope not, I'm just about to get this one paid off. -

Yep, I do it rolling into the parking garage at work and can even hear the echo of squeeling rubber.

I aired mine up about a year ago and they still have the same pressure. I used the Harley pump w/guage and check them about every month, no change. You may have a small leak.

Just ordered mine from Earl (Skydoc). My clutch is not slipping bad, just when I roll on the throttle in 3rd and 4th gear it seems. Hope this does the trick. I would think we would get more than 24k miles out of the oem though.

I just got my seats back. Tell me what you think.

I've been using mine for two years now....no garage either. It's faded but water still roles right off. Great covers!

I was actually looking for an interstate. If I could have found an interstate with low miles back when I found the RSV that's what I would be on right now. I can't for the life of me understand why Honda quit making them!? Awesome machines!!!

Don, our thoughts and prayers are with you. It's good that you cought it early. Prostsate Ca. is very curable in the early stages. The hospital I work at has the DaVincci robot and we have had increadible success with this method. Good luck with your surgery and have a speedy RECOVERY!

I got a 39 on the first try, but I'm a caveman and it seemed so easy. Besides, I stayed at a Holliday Inn Express last night.
