  1. I have the nelson- riggs full cover, and I love it. Totally water-proof and has vents to let mouisture out. I have the one with the silver bottom and can put it on without worrying about the hot mufflers. Also has the elastic bottom, stays put!!! Two thumbs up for nelson-riggs covers. Also comes with a cinch bag for packing, packs up small, nice. Carl

  5. Headed to Townsend TN. from Gulfport, MS. Wed. Oct 7th. Will be staying at Riverstone Lodge through Sunday the 11th. Anyone interested in riding along or a M&E in the area let us know. Right now there are three bikes going, same group that went to Arkansas rally with me a month ago. Man I can't wait!!

  9. My '07 did the samething when it had bridgestone tires on it even if the pressure was right. Changed to Avons and tightened the head bearings just a little bit and wow what a difference. My next guess would be axle nut or bearings as well.
  10. I can turn on my radio and the control functions just fine but I'm not getting any sound out of my speakers. I switched between SP and HS and nothing. When I plugged in my headset and switched to HS I can barely here music coming through my helmet speakers. All fuses are fine. I don't see anything loose under the fairing which is split right now. HELP!!!!! Thanks in advance, Carl

  12. :sign yeah that:Good rule to follow. I personally don't notice a difference w/ cold weather handling. I ride year-round, of-course I live deep south but it still freezes here, don't stop me though.

  14. Hey Don, appreciate it. Looks like me and the guy's I went to Arkansas with last week are heading to the tennessee mountains Oct. 8th for that weekend and If so I won't make the M&E in MS. Gotta work the 26th, thanks all the same. have a safe ride but have fun in Louisiana. Ya'll come on to the mountains with us, ride some twisties. Thanks Carl

  16. Anyone near the MS Gulf Coast w/ a carb sync tool I can use or pay to sync my carbs? I bought the '07 used w/ 9,000 mi on it and now I have just over 15,000 on it. To my knowledge it has never been synced and I am sure it needs it. Can I get some help. Am willing to pay for use or service either way. Thanks, Carl
  17. My son got his ship date. It's off to Afghanistan. Marine Infantry Div. He sure is fired up. Hard for me and mom to feel the same enthusiasm. These guy's are awesome. Please pray for their safe return. Thanks

  19. My Momma used the cast iron corn stick type pan, looked like corn on the cobb, I still have that ole pan, I think it's time to use it.....
  20. I have this really nice 2007 motorcycle that someone modified and put a cassette deck in where the guages belong! Can you beleive that? A cassette deck of all things!
  21. DITTO!! You can't beat this thing. I can't imagine working on one of these bikes without one.
