  1. Appears that there is no way for it to work on the Ipad or Iphone. Sorry. The only option would be to set it up as you want it when you have access to a computer somewhere. Have no idea why not. I just tried it and confirmed what you are saying but don't know why.
  2. Thank you and please know that you will be in our thoughts and prayers today as always.
  3. Wonderful song and tribute to your son. It's hard to understand why some leave us so soon. Someday we will know.
  4. I haven't reloaded in years but used to really enjoy it. I used a RockChucker press and dies. It did a good job. I loaded rifle and pistol ammo. You add as you go but this is basically what I started with. Amazon.com : RCBS Rock Chucker Supreme Master Reloading Kit, Green : Gunsmithing Tools And Accessories : Sports & Outdoors
  5. The only thing I can think of that I have not added back to the forum is the countdown page. It was the page that counted down the days until various rallies and etc. I think that those events get enough attention here and on the calendar that the countdown page was pretty much just a novelty. What are your opinions? Is it something that any of you really miss?
  6. I would have loved one of those when I was a kid. You did a very nice job on it.
  7. I made one change to the favorites folks. They were collapsed by default. Now you should be able to expand any of the groups, most likely your favorites and that tab should remain open when you get ready to reply to another post. It will no longer collapse by default.
  8. No, there is no other way that I know of. I'm out of town but when I get home later this evening I will use my wife's iPad to see if there is a way to do it. If not, you will just have to find access to a computer and then log in from it and select your smilies. Then they should be there for you.
  9. Randy are you talking about here? I haven't heard of any IE issues. Otherwise, you will have to be a bit more specific. Of course the obvious answer is to stop using IE if you are having that many problems with it. It's amazing that only 9.8% of people still use IE with Chrome being number one and Firefox number Two. http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp
  10. Yesterday I installed a modification that allowed me to categorize our smilies making them easier to find and also allows you to save your 20 most used smilies in your own "My Favorites". We had something similar on the old site and several people had requested that it be brought back. Installing this modification though created a conflict with the bottom navigation bar that others had requested. This was a navigation bar at the bottom of the page that prevented you from having to scroll all the back to the top of a thread. After installing the smilies mod, I spent WAY too long trying to figure out why it wouldn't work properly before finding that the bottom navbar was causing the issue. I then spent WAY too long trying to figure out how to modify the navbar mod so that it would work with the smilie mod. I failed. They will just not co-exist together. I had to decide which was the more useful modification and decided that the smilie modification was probably most useful. I still knew though that some people find it a real bother to have scroll back to the top after reading the last post of a thread. So.....I did a simple modification that adds only buttons to get back to the top of the thread that you are reading or back to the list of threads in the forum that you are in. At the bottom of the last post in a thread is a "quick navigation" drop down menu. You will now find two buttons beside it. One says "GO" and the other says "Top". If you click on the "GO" button, it will take you back the top of the forum that you are in with a list of all the threads. If you click on the "Top" button, it will take you back to the first post in the thread that you are reading. There are other links in the drop down menu. Back to forum home, other forums, etc. but those two are just click and go so you don't have to click on and then scroll down in the drop down menu. I think that this accomplishes what you wanted with the bottom navigation bar.
  11. I've had no other report about quick reply not working. I use it about 99% of the time. If you continue to have a problem, post something in the bug reports with details of your browser and etc. and I'll take a look.
  12. The company that I work for manufacturers dimensional sign letters and plaques. We offer products from a lot of different materials including injection molded, formed plastic, flat cut metals and cast metals. We often had requests for a letter than looks rusted. It actually makes for a pretty sign for the right "rustic" type decor. We offer a cut metal letter from Cor Ten steel and continues to rust over time. The problem is that because it continues to rust, it will eventually streak the wall that it is mounted on Some people actually want that. Then we came up with a powder coat finish that looks like rust but doesn't actually rust or streak the walls. It has been very popular.
  13. Well I found out what was causing the double line of the smilie boxes under quick reply and got it corrected. Now the problem is that it was the bottom navbar that I had added that was causing a conflict so I'll have to figure out another way to do that. Will try to do that tomorrow but for now.....it's bedtime.
  14. Loved those bikes. Still do.
  15. That's right...I give you one thing and you ask for something else..... There's just no pleasing some people. LOL....just kidding. Give me a few days. I'll see what I can come up with. Next thing you'll be wanting is new music in the chat room. I changed the songs just a couple of years ago.
  16. OK..back by popular request is a modification that allows you to create your own favorite smiles. There is a small bug in the programming code that is causing it to show two rows of blocks at the bottom of the quick reply box where it should be only one. I will get that figured out. In the meantime, it does work. First of all, I have again created some categories of the available smilies to make it easier to find the ones you want in general. There is also a category called "My Favorites". To add your favorite 20 smiles to that category, you have to click on "Settings" in the upper right of the page. Then scroll down until you see DBTech - VBEdtior Tabs in the left menu. Under that is "Favorites Tab Settings". Just click on that and then drag your favorite 20 into the box.
  17. Any time you are in the forum, you will get the quick links menu. If you are on the "What's New" page, you will get those others.
  18. Have you tried clicking on User Gallery beside your name in these posts? Pictures in the old VBulletin album were imported into the VR Gallery. Pictures that were in the old VBGarage are probably gone. Actually, I probably have them in an archive but it would be hard to retrieve them. I may try at some point though.
  19. OK..I guess we'll just have to wait until then.
  20. If you go to your profile, at the upper right is a bar that says "Customize My Profile". If you click on that, there is a menu bar just above all your settings that shows Customize, Default, Revert, etc. I haven't tried it because I don't want to change mine but I think that if you click on "Default"....it will take it back to how it was before any customizations and probably for your Blue, it would turn it back to blue. Now I'm not answering any more of your questions until you apologize about all that Harley stuff.
  21. I don't understand that. Unless you were just looking at the posts listed on the previous home page. That wasn't really the forum but just a list of recent new posts. You get the exact same thing by clicking on New Posts at the upper left of the page. Actually, if New Posts is all your really care about, you could just go to this page and bookmark it. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/search.php?searchid=109340
  22. Though it requires a click, there is a way to see your friends that are online. It the lower menu bar at the top, there is a "quick links" menu. Click on that and then on "Contacts Popup" and it will show your friends list and which ones are online. Another way is at the bottom of the page. The block that shows who is online. Those on your friends list have a + after them. I know that neither are what you are used to but just pointing out a couple of ways to do it.
  23. At least I can read it now. Do you want me to login as you and take a look?
  24. You have it ALL screwed up don't you. If I swap to blue, everything is blue. Settings, Profile, etc. When you go to your profile, there is a button on the right top that says "customize profile". That is where you need to be looking. I think there is even a option in there to revert it back to default but I haven't tried it. That may be your best bet. Put it back to default and then customize from there if you wish to.
  25. OK....I think that is YOUR problem, not MINE. Now I can see that you are obviously using red but isn't that in your profile? YOU control the colors in your profile. Click on customize and change them to the color that you want. When I go to the Thanks tab in your profile I see what you are saying. If I click on "Hide User Customizations", they show up just fine.
