  1. Hello David, Been there, done that, without success. Great am reception, though. Thanks for your input, Richard
  2. I've got an 1988 Venture Royale, but the stock am/fm radio will only stay on am and not switch to fm. Bought two stock replacement units off ebay that Sellers promised would tune both am & fm. However, installed each and neither will switch over to fm. Anyone have a solution?
  3. "V2's..." You talking about the Victory Vision? Richard in AZ
  4. If I can see a sketch and the mount plates have the corresponding attachment holes, I could be in on a buy. Thanks, Richard in AZ
  5. Any experience to share on this? I have a 1997 Ford Ranger, short bed (6') truck. I want to move my big VR frompoitnts A to B. Riding it is oot an option. SO, which is better; loading the bike into the bed or towing it with a trailer. Either way, its a 1-man operation. I have a trailer hitch installed, but UHaul could do that. I don't have ramps, either, and sure don't want an 800lb bike falling or tipping over while getting it into the truck-bed. Comments are invited, everyone! Thanks, Richard in AZ.
  6. No overheating observed, just thinking ahead to the 110 summer temps and remembering my vr12 experiences. Thanks, guys.
  7. Has anyone used an aftermarket radiator fan that is more efficient; flows more air, etc? Any recommendations? Thanks, Richard in AZ 1988 VR
  8. Okay, Roll on the throttle, the motor pauses briefly and then kicks in, Any ideas? Thanks, Richard in AZ
  9. Okay, applying the right handlebar brake causes the feeling of the brake pads pulsing, as if the rotars are warped. Any ideas? Thanks, Richard in AZ
  10. Okay, Pushing the "power on" button cycles through the two other lights, then they go off and the "power on" light stays lit. But, when engaging the "set" switch on the right handlebar control, nithing happens. No sound of the vacuum pump engaging; nothing. Any idea on where to start with a repair? Thanks, Richard in AZ
  11. Thanks, Randy, It's comforting to be able to reach out to the Forum and have members such as yourself lend their experience. Thanks for your time and thoughts. Richard
  12. Well, machisas mas gracias to Videoarizona, as the 20w-50 was an near-instant resolution. But, there is a little clutch-lever fluid (Dot 3) coming out of the shifter shaft hole in the stator cover. Also, there is some 'slop' in the shaft, where it comes out of the stator hole; not laterally, but in-and-out of the stator's shaft hole, with about 3/4 of an inch of play. Any thoughts on these two points? Thanks again, RIchard in Prescott Valley, AZ Richard in
  13. My wife said not to call on her help again if I tip it over. Isn't there another engine guard that results in an easier, 1-person pick-up? Man, this is a heavy bike! Thanks, Richard in AZ
