91 year old motorcyclist killed by hit and run driver
phill12 replied to midnightventure's topic in Watering Hole
Olen Rode Ventures for years! We seen him a lot the 90's. When he got to where he couldn't hold the venture up he bought a Silver Wing. This was a very sad day for all of us here in Tulsa that knew him. I hadn't see him in years. I thought he had stop riding. -

If you have it please send it to me at pandlbiker@olp.net Thanks phill P.S. I think they said it was on a nascar

Had the same thing Friday! Plumers coming Tuesday to change all the pipes under this house. $1700 but it is going to be worth every penny not to have to crawl under, in the mud again. I have been under there 5 times since June!!

THE JOB - URINE TEST (Whoever wrote this one deserves a HUGE pat on the back!) Like most folks in this country, I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to get that paycheck in my case, I am required to pass a random urine test (with which I have no problem). What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test. So, here is my Question: Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them? Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their ass - doing drugs, while I work. . . Can you imagine how much money each state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check? I guess we could title that program, 'Urine or You're Out'. Pass this along if you agree or simply ignore it if you don't. Hope you all will pass it along, though. Something has to change in this country -- and soon

Retirement is not all it's crack up to be!!! Been that way for 3 years now. I hope the government doesn't lay me off!!!! I would still be working but it cost me to much in taxes to work. My military retirement was about $14,000 a year and while Loraine was teaching and I was working full time we paid about $15,000 a year in income taxes. since we both have retired we have a lot less money coming in, but more take home than we did! Just my two cents!! Phill

computer warning/moniter is blank help please
phill12 replied to THE DUDE's topic in GPS, Audio, Electronics
Looks like you have the same problem I have on my 92. The computer monitoring system (CMS) has gone south. As soon as it warms up I'm going to pull mine out and see if it has a cracked board or a bad diode. This part cost $895 from Yamaha. $625 my cost at K&N here in Tulsa. There is a couple of instrument panels on e-bay so may have to just buy one of them. If you come up with a fix for yours please post it!!! Phill -
