OK, how do you suggest they do that?? Geeze, it's a safety equipment check, not a nutzoid check...

I think it really looks cool, and puts a new look on an Iron Horse, but

VAT tax is nothing more than another way of saying it's a national sales tax.....

So I guess when they do a safety inspection on 18 wheelers at weigh stations it's profiling and against their rights?? A few states have yearly safety inspection requirements... I might be in the minority, but I think it's a good thing.... Maybe giving out Tootsi-Pops, if they pass, might make them feel better....

Congrats Chief.....

If that includes free shipping I'll take a couple of 'm. Nothing like Pygmy Power to keep a kid on the straight and narrow....

Sounds like you have one of those cold weather O-rings. Look around, there should be some white residue on one of the conectiions. Put some cardboard under the scoot to get an idea of where it's coming from.

85/83 boost sensor hook up

It's on the inside between the #2 and #4 carbs.. Sorry 'bout that. -
Suprisingly the insurance was less than the Suburban with the same coverage. On the gas.... I don't see her driving it that much... back and forth to school etc..... if she does need fuel she'd better think about flippin' burgers at Micky D's....

I think I read somewhere... maybe it was from Goose... that syncing the carbs is for low end performance, and once the butterflies were open it didn't make a lot of difference on the sync..as long as they were close.. That's why they are synced at idle, and easier to sync at higher RPM's. Syncing at idle will give better performance when starting off in 1st. So buy the tach. Or.... you can always buy a 1stGen just to know what 1000rpm sounds like....

The emissions connection will not work as a vacuum port for the '83 TCI. The port is designed to recover fumes from the manifold. The '83 #2 has a bib connecting above the butterfly for venturi vacuum. It's located on the #4 side. -
The reserve is manual under the left side of the tank. Once you know where it is it can be switched on the fly. The count up lasts between 10-20 miles depending on driving habits. I usually start to gradually loose power before having to switch....

Don't we have a Voyager Kit Trike in our classifieds?? Might even be a better option than a side car.... And... you can keep the Bushtec...

We've already raised 6 kids, 4 girls and 2 boys. The oldest daughter just turned 50, and the wife is leaving Friday for the weekend to attend our 22 y.o. grand daughter's bridal shower... I had more trouble with the boys... guess they took after me.... Our last two girls, 16 and 13, are our grandkids... which makes 8 total, and we have the pink slip on 'm. (Long story I don't need to get into here.) What really ticks me off is I don't think I can get into the GT. I have a Ford F250 body. Otherwise I'd be the one to worry about.....

Actually compared to a lot of later models it's a mouse. It had it's day, but those days are long gone. As far as letting a 16 y.o. drive one, it all depends on the kid. This one's pretty level headed, with a ton of common sense...

Yeah... Mama's already nick named it 'LEVERAGE'...

Nope.... it's a '94... Man I thought I'd get a couple of days out of this thread, but you guys are way too good. Been looking around for a car for my daughter...16 tomorrow... I know..I know I'm not old enough to have a 16 Y.O.... Anyway left to go preview a couple of cars in an estate auction, and on the way back this thing was sticking out in the driveway of a neighbor with a for sale sign on it. It's like new with 75000 original miles on it. 5.0 HO/Automatic/Loaded. I told her she's not getting the new computor for her birthday... She said OK...

Driving down the street and passed another toy. Took all of 30 minutes to check it out, and now it's in the stable.....
