I have done routes with mapquest and uploaded waypoints with google maps it works preety and is easy You will need to load the plugin for you web browser then you have the option to send to GPS

I was speaking with a guy from Yamaha to about my warranty Then I mentioned the NO RSTD in the line up He said that they have it in the 2010 line up I replied it not on the website He said the only bike they are not making is the v-star 1100 It has been replaced with the 950 ??? 950 -- 1100 has to be the same Motor seems like a waste My 2 cents

Fuel Problem ??????

Thanks for getting back to me Guys I was under the idea of the fuel pump or a relay When I spoke the the guys at the shop I told the shop what input you gave Then I called Yamaha and it wont be covered under warranty because the fuel pump is working If it were completely shot then it would be covered and I would be standing on the side of the road someplace A little disappointed Oh well -
OK Someone has had to have had this problem....... The Bike runs great if it starts --- That is the problem --- 2006 RSTD 40,000 miles Normal operation ---- I turn the key The Fuel Pump makes at tick about 3 seconds I pull the choke Bike starts I let it warm up while I get my gear on Off I go Problem ---- Let the Bike sit for a week or so I have the battery tender on Battery checks out fine I turn the key plenty of power The Fuel Pump is silent I pull the choke Bike starts --- Barely an idle -- put put put -- I can not give it any throttle or push the choke or it stalls It puts until it I assume it runs the carbs dry then stalls It can take an hour or so until I can get it to run last time this happened I left it alone I had the shop come and pick it up I got on it in the garage turned the key (Habit) Tic Tic Tic the bike started up as soon as he unloaded at the shop and he cant find anything wrong with it I told him keep it and call me in 2 weeks when it wont start What is it that determines if there is pressure in the carbs When I turn the key what happens next ?????? 5 times this has happened I can recreate the problem just let the Bike sit for a week or so. I have put close to 4,000 miles on it this summer as long as I don't let it sit no problem at all

Frogmaster --- Was Nice enough to take me on a tour of the UPPER Penn. Day 1 --- Thursday 9/3--- I went up to Wesick Michigan to Charlie ( Frogmaster) Home Were I spent the night I met Charlie ( frogmaster ) and Mimi at MD in Oberilin earlier this year He is in the army reserves and comes to Columbus Ohio We get together when he is in town Day 2 --- Friday 9/4 --- Charlie and I followed the Lake Michigan coast through Petoskey, Michigan around to Harbor springs along a route known as the Tunnel of Trees We ended up in Cross Village, Michigan then around Around to the Mackinac Bridge From there we headed North to Grand Marais on Lake Superior While there we camped at Camped at Woodland Park Campground Day 3 --- Saturday 9/5 --- We went to Munising Michigan and took a 2.5 hour boat cruise along Picture Rocks National Seashore While we had several hours to wait for the boat We rode along the coast and took some photos of waterfalls and the coast line from the bluffs Day 4 --- Sunday 9/6 --- We broke camp and went to Tahqamenon Falls State Park in Paradise Michigan. This was A really nice park 2 parts the upper and lower falls my favorite was the lower falls We needed to take a row boat to an island the river splits around there are water falls around the whole island Then we rode north to White Fish Point to the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum and took a tour of the museum and light house then went in the water up to my knees collected some rocks rinsed my head Then took the long drive home through the night I went over the Mackinac Bridge at dusk Beautiful view no lights along the shore of Lake Michigan on one side Lake Huron on the other Just Peaceful I had to keep remembering to look at the road 7:00 pm Sunday I was at White Fish Point standing in Lake Superior 5:00 am Monday I was in Columbus Ohio unpacking I had wonderful weekend........

My brakes have been squealing since day one 40,000 miles later still squealing mostly in stop and go riding I did have the same sound with the rear until they were replaced I have not changed the fronts yet Dave....

They came through town a few weeks ago in Columbus Ohio What a great show !!!!!!

I did raise the ends on mine they were to low Just un bolt the speedometer and let it hang to the side then you can get to the bolts to raise the bars hope that helps Dave

I few weeks back while at Mini Ashville I took a ride on the BRP an One over look gift shop had signs and shirts Stating Enjoy the View ---- Watch The Road As for the Video Not just Harley Riders All riders need to think b4 they pull any moves like that I hope the only the this man hurt was his ego

Sounds like a great trip Some great photos I like the covered bridge photo the best Mass. is a nice state to visit my Dad was from there I am hoping to get back to Long Island B4 riding season is past I need to visit some old friends Ride Safe

Motorcycle t-bone a jeep At what age does it start I was standing on my patio looking around Then I see it the 2 little ones next door now have new riding toys 1 a battery powered jeep 2 a battery powered motorcycle well the kid in the jeep turned left in front of his brother who crashed into him after a hand gesture and some yelling at each other the were back to it at that point I just started laughing Ride safe

Make sure you can get a mount to use on the bike with the GPS Ram mounts should. Take a look at www.BUYDIG.COM I have purchased 2 units from them They did have the best price at the time. Ride Safe

2006 RSTD 38,000 miles Well twice I have be stuck Glad it was in my drive way I start the bike as usual choke - start about 20 seconds - choke in Twice it has started barely an idle then Dies repeat-repeat-repeat That's all i can get from it First time took about a half hour of starting an dying to run Today it had to be at least 20 starts and gave up called a friend with a trailer just went out it runs fine I am thinking it the fuel pump I don't hear it when I turn the key Now I hear it It doesn't seem flooded no gas smell Any help thanks
