  1. Yup, that is still available, as I have 1 to be installed soon. As for pics, see item #3 under the fairing PDF, for the console top. From your initial post, I thought you needed item #3 on the radio install PDF.
  2. New part still available...... PANEL,ACCESSORY 1 26H-28212-00-00 $71.12 at Partshark.com
  3. Wide Open Throttle (WOT), or in other words, Full throttle..... :thumbsup2:
  4. Yup.
  5. Those are used, for the rear down tube exhaust clamps. What was your clamps connecting to, if anything???? See item #15 under the exhaust section http://www.partshark.com/fiche_select2.asp?category=Motorcycles&make=Yamaha&year=1983&fveh=4522
  6. Looks to be the front left exhaust pipe & Partshark lists it for $170.36 ($252.21 Retail)....
  7. All quick dis-connects for the starter, ignition & fuel, amongst others. A co-worker was on the demontration team, about 20 years ago. I didn't know it was still being done, but that is a fairly recent video. Electrical Mechanical Engineering (EME) Branch, Vehicle Technicians.
  8. He was always bottle fed...... He has gone to cans, or whatever beer is available in since. :rotf:
  9. But it's only Wednesday not Thursday, oh yeah it's now Thursday, over in the sandbox. How many of their customs did he pick up, from his time there????
  10. Rocket

    Oh deer!

No bear hunting with the scoot, as well.
  11. Possible on thermostat, but fan operation is about normal, only kicks in when stopped. There has been mention before, about guage calibration possibly being off.
  12. I would think so, it's not always parked, like something else with 2 wheels.
  13. It is a trike, so it will be harder, for you to tip it, on it's side. But knowing you, not impossible. Looks like some cushioning, in those twin head rests...... :rotf::rotf:
  14. Part of the stator cooling mod, supposed to keep the hole in the rotor bolt, from plugging up (I think) & the oil flowing. The stators were replaced under warranty, regardless of warranty status & the mod was installed.
  15. Kinda have to, PIP is held at his place........ You, actually doing it?
  16. Rick's Motorsport Electrics also has stators & Voltage regulators, as well as starters & other items, for Ventures. I have installed 2 in Cody Wy, last year & they seem to have a good rating with DennisKirk.com I have also recently ordered, a Rick's motorsport stator, for a friend's 82 750 Nighthawk. http://www.ricksmotorsportelectrics.com/aboutus.php
  17. Wasn't that a collection dish, to scrape up the $$$, for an aftermarket rear shock????? :rotf:
  18. I guess, you have not been mowing (or anything else), around your pond..... As we have not heard, of anything getting waterlogged, for quite a while.
  19. I'm also too far away, to come at a moments notice, to fix it as well........
  20. Your understanding is correct.
  21. Back in Wainwright now, as I only made it to Friesman1's place yesterday. After all, I'm back to work tomorrow.
  22. Too bad, that you couldn't adapt any Virago parts, as that one is such a trailer queen. After all 1 year just to get the fork seals, another year to attempt to get them changed out, by an unsuspecting member at PIP. But forgot to bring along fork oil & the nessary tools to do the job (17mm allen head socket, speed handle, circlip pliers & pvc tube to act as seal driver). Now Gary will give it a try & Russ may be able to attempt riding it again by PIP 2011.
  23. So which one, of the 3 in the last pic, did you decide on???? :duck:In case, Carol sees this.....
  24. You would have seen me, if you had stopped in at the "Pork in the Pines" pig roast. I stopped in Regina today to vist & back to Wainwright tomorrow.
  25. A few more pics. Also with an extended trip in the works for next year, I now have a trailer.
