Careful, illegal in Ohio if used on the street. FYI
  6. THANK YOU, You beat me to it..
  7. Had a buddy sale a 2000 honda 1100 tourer yesterday, as part of the deal he took a 1978 wing as trade. the radio does not work, no rear breaks, 75,000 miles, and a few other probems. He wanted to know if I would be interested in it for a few hundred bucks. Don't know much about the old wing, so give me your thoughts:think:. Should I consider it, or just stay focused on getting back into a RSV. Oh my the way I didn't mention I have a 77 kz1000 in the garage with only 11,000 mile on it that just needs a battery.

    Patriot Guard

I plan to get involved with the guard when I get back in the saddle, and that of course depends what the economy does.
  9. Yesterday while on duty I clocked a guy on a victory vision going 74 mph while he was in a 35 mph zone. After I stopped him he said he was on the way to the hospital to see his wife. I'm not going to say weather or not I gave him a ticket:rasberry:, but I really think he was showing off for the guy on the crotch rocket he blew by!
  10. Boy, I wish I had the cash I'd jump on that deal.
  11. I think in most cases it depends! What I mean is if your a suspect in a crime you will most likely be advised to file a motion of discovery thru the court system. If your a victim I would think the DA will have no problem sharing.
  12. $18,500 thats what I paid for my 2008 HD ultra. I live in Ohio, if you shop around and do so dealing you can find a new RSV for $15,000 + or - a few bucks.

    OHIO?

I live in northwest ohio and ready to ride! Oh wait a minute someone will have to loan me a bike first.
  14. Oh ya one more thing. I want the Midnight version to come back.
  15. There's only two things I want for the 2010 model. 1) A good in dash CD player. 2) no payment no interest for 3 years. What da think? Will this happen?
  16. Stilllllll waiting for the pics.
  17. I think he was going to use the money to buy a new bike.
  18. I'll buy it! Maybe it's like the day after Thanksgiving for them. Around that time of the year we always hear how it's the biggest shopping day of the year and stores need big number to survive.
  19. I feel your pain about jobs in Michigan!! I drive part time to pay for my toys. I normally deliver to Detroit and Canada. For the past five yrs I've been driving about 6 days a month. Since the economy took a nose dive things have slowed up. Only been in a truck once since October. This makes it tuff to save for that new RSV I want. GLAD YOU FOUND SOMETHING THO, I'M SURE YOU FEEL A LITTLE LESS STRESSED NOW!
  20. 17yrs, 7 months, 24 day 1hr, and 3 mins ago.
  21. GONE!!!! I've been tracking RSV's on ebay for about a month now. Beside this one only three have sold. Two were 07's and sold under $11,000.
  22. Hey Buz It's good to hear from someone on the forum that's close to home!!! Some yrs ago I sold manufactured homes. I put one in Liberty Center on Mulberry St at least I think that was the street, it's got a porch on the front of it. I sold several bike's to McCarthy's in the past, in fact Tim the owner lives in my neighborhood. I was at the shop about a month ago. He did not have any RSV on the floor, but said they would be getting two 08's in sometime in Feb which will be a little to soon for be to buy. With the economy sliding south I'll most likley try to pay cash which means if Star doesn't make any changes 2010 I'll be looking for a low mile use RSV. Been tracking them on ebay. I've watch two 07's sell for under $11,000 with low miles.
  23. I hope they do make some big change! Why? That means I should be able to pick up a good use 08/09 cheap.
  24. I guess this question would best be answered by members who have or have had both 1st gen and 2nd gen scoots. Back in Dec I sold my HD ultra to save some cash and go back to a RSV. Lately I’ve seen several 1st gen for sale with fairly low miles on different sites on the web. This got me thinking about parking a 1st gen in my garage. So can someone tell me what some of the major differences are between 1st and 2nd gen’s? Is there a better year to look for in the 1st gen?
