  11. Muffinman got a lower to me and 86er sent me photo's . I will be making lowers for the 1st gen here real soon . I will be attending the Manteo M & E with a proto-type to verify fit . I will keep ya informed of the project . Beer30
  12. I have been getting requests for the 2nd Gen Bra set "Scooter Hooters" , for both upper and lowers fairings . I have been reluctant in taking orders as my time is limited . I still have a couple of pair of chaps and other items to make for other VR members , but I have decided to start making these "Scooter Hooters" available to the first 25 VR.Org members only at this time . So here is the deal . I can allot myself time to produce at least 2 complete sets of 2nd Gen Bra "Scooter Hooters" a week until I get caught up on my day job duties . I will make 25 sets available at a reduced price of $120.00 (US funds) per set (plus postage), on which I will take $20.00 of this money and donate in behalf with your name to a VR Fund . If all 25 sets are sold , that will generate $500.00 towards the VR Fund . If you wish to order , please make a post noting that you wish to order/reserve a set . I will not be asking for any money until your set of "Scooter Hooters" are ready to ship out . You will be notified by PM when they are ready to ship and also to obtain shipping address . I will set up a Pay Pal account and direct you to that account to send funds plus shipping . That person notified that their "Scooter Hooters" are ready , has (1) one week to to respond . If you do not respond , then that set will go to the next person in line on the list and your request will either be dropped to the bottom of the list or voided . In the case of a return/refund , only the sum of $100.00 will be refunded . The $20.00 for donation and shipping charges will be forfeited . VR.Org will not be held responsible in any way if there is a dispute or incident . That issue will be dealt with myself only . Once all 25 sets are sold , I will be sending the funds to Black Owl for deposit into the VR Fund account . These "Scooter Hooters" will be made of clothe backed Vynl , Black in color only . If you desire another color , Vynl spray paint can be obtained at your local automotive supply store . It takes myself less than a minute to place on or take off the uppers . About 2 minutes to place on the lowers and you will have to get down on your knees or back to fasten to scoot's fairing bottom . They will not interfere with lower vents , nor foot-pegs that I am aware of. They will not interfere with grill guards either . You will need to remove occasionally to clean/remove any grit that may be air born and get caught in between the bras and fairings . Here are some photo's of my set for viewing . Perhaps we can get SleeperHawk's Mechanic to post photo's of their's "scooter Hooters" for viewing as well. If you have any questions , please ask . 16. dynodon , With ALL DUE RESPECT , Are you on Crack ? Lexol is the "yes" one the leaders of the "WORST" product in the industry !!!! It's so bad , I wouldn't even recommend it to Charlie .:rotf: Only thing good about Lexol is that it so gummy , you will stick to the seat ! Best thing for Naugie is a damp cloth to wipe it clean . If it has already started cracking , the vynl is already cooked . All the purdy little bottled products only make it shine , not reverse the damaging process . Most products only allow the sunlight to magnify the heat onto the naugie causing advanced deteriation . Best to cover the seats with a covering when not in use is the best preventative measure . A little slickem product on the seat now and then will help the bluejeans from grasping the naugie and not stretch the vynl as bad as your butt glides across . Lexol is bad "JuJu" in my personal and professional opinion . As Lewis recommended , a vynl spray will help the naugie cosmetics . Now for a report for leather . Some have seen my leather on my scoot . It has been in major rainstorms and has gotten many good soakens . I just now placed a second application of Saddle Butter on them this weekend . It's been close to or barely over a year now since it's first application . If I were to use Lexol , I would have had to use at least 6 applications and also suffer a gummy builded up with dirt trapped in it . I strongly advise anyone not to use Lexol . Off my Rant now and no dis-respect to dynodon . BEER30

Jeff , A pink holster can be arranged . Now for the BEER20 comment . I won't tell anyone your new name of "Broke-Back Biker" we gave you when we presented the pink chaps and vest to you . So take that back , or I will tell ! BEER30
  24. :no-no-no: No., No , No .... not them there nutts , but the scoot's seat nuts .:rotf: Having heard people talking about being able to take the scoots seat off for multiple reasons , wing nuts vibrating off and loosing them , or not being able to access a wrench easily . So I did the same thing like I did for my saddle bag bolts . Using the original nuts off the stock seat , I drilled a hole completely through the bottom of the 2 seat nuts using an 1/8" bit . I took an 1" stainless steel split ring (like used on key rings) and threaded one through each holes of the each nut . Then I took a stainless steel 10" fishing leader (one end has swivel and other end a snap hook) and thread the swivel end into one of the split rings on one of the nuts . Then I re-attached the nuts back onto the seat , then thread the fishing leader over to the other nut and connected the snap into the other split ring/nut .The leader prevents the nuts from backing off . Cost was only a few dollars and took about 15 minutes to make . Here's a photo . BEER30
  25. Went to a sister dealership of my dealer today and got a Major Score on chrome and accessories for the scoot . MSRP for the Tinted Lower Wind Vents are $193.95 and for the Saddle Bag Lid Trim Rails $177.95 . I got the the Vents for $100.00 NIB (he has been holding for me for a while) and the SB Trim Rails for $20.00 (opened package , but still new) for Tim . The dealership is clearing out all old inventory in stock on Star Chrome and some other stock in store only . I cleaned out the last of the RSV chrome and accessories , but they have other Star line accessories left . My favorite salesman there is going to round up a list of items remaining with closeout pricing as time allows him and send to me and I will post . As I was there , I saw a $200.00+ leather bag go out the door for $53.00 . That salesman has my e-mail and will send me a list as I have stated above . BEER30
