  1. My nephew, his wife and daughter(10 months old) are moving from Boston to Houston, beginning of September. She is being transfered with her job. She will be working around Jones and 290 area. They are looking to rent in the north west end of Houston. Any suggestions as to were to rent and were not to. Or do you know of anyone who is looking for tenants. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, Hal
  2. Bill, thanks for stepping up and taking on a project that will be overwelling and extremely fullfilling when all is said and done( I know). Also thanks for moving the rally to Aug. as my wife started a new job last fall and is not allowed holidays in July, so she could only enjoy the evenings with us this year. Looking forward to the 2009 rally. If you have any questions or need any suggestions, don't hesitate to ask Reiny or myself as well. Hal

  4. Goes out to everyone who attended, participated and thoroughly enjoyed the 2008 Kitchener International Rally. You are what made this Rally a success. Every stop I felt bad having to get you back on your bikes because the comradory was self evident. Whether it was riding, socalizing, out for dinner, sitting by the fire till 1:00 oclock in the morning(which I now nominate Shari with the name of "GIGGLES") every moment of every day was complete enjoyment. Special thanks goes to those that pitched in and assisted in every manner to bring this week together and make it a success. Thank you Reiny for putting up with me and my crap for the last 6 months. And a special thanks to my wife Gayle for assisting me, and for making it a lot easier for me to do my part. I am truely thankful that we could share with you our little part of the world and look forward to were ever the next rally will take us. Pics will be forth coming. Again Thank You:bighug: Hal

  8. I agree with you Don, I have had my '99 up to 180km(110mph) when I first got it,in '99, but now it seems to be slugish. I have 100,000miles on it. I was intending to go through it this winter. So with age it may be time to replace vacuum line, gas lines..., and to check it out completely.

  20. Ok, Update: Thanks for all the info guys. Took the rectifier off and checked the ohms, it came in at 0.8. Then I found the connector by the battery and yes it was full of oil runoff and road grime. Cleaned that up and put it back together.Took it for a ride then Retested the ohms and still got 0.8, but now it is running just around 13.2v. Increased the reves but did not go up to 14v. So I might still have a problem somewhere. Hal
