Welcome to the nut house and you have a lovely blonde. We have one of those as well, with a bit more mileage. We're freshening her up at the moment, she has over 160,000 miles on her. Hope to repaint her after the mechanical stuff is done. Margaret

We got wetskins had them sent down by one of our Canadians (Rocket). They work great and you can take out the liner. Not sure if you can get them in the states or not, I do know we couldn't get them anywhere near here. Margaret

I had someone try to pay their doctor bill in MO from my debit card.Since we don't live in that state it was flagged. Plus I've never been to that state. Needless to say my bank stopped it, all I needed to do was head to the bank and get them to give me a new card. So While I was there I changed up my acct stuff as well. Amazing what people try. I never give my card to anyone, debit or credit. Can't trust anyone. Margaret

Peggy you got lots of interesting offers. Tell Ron that your retirement will be traveling around the country washing bikes and getting rides. Sounds like a great time. Take your bike to your local yamaha shop they can run the vin and tell if the I-basket work has been tried or not and if any other warranty work has been done. It will also tell you when the bike was sold, where it was sold and who bought it. Not sure about this guys claim of the oldest yamaha shop in the states. I know there's one in OH that's been around a long time. Good luck with the bike Margaret
