Sorry she didn't get her vacation, but I'm glad she's ok enough to get home. They wouldn't have let her go if they thought it was life threatening. Hope they take out the gall bladder and she's ok. You know what to do for her when she gets there Dan. Margaret

When we started this I told Black Owl I'd let him auction it off for the site after Annie & Allan were done with it. I'll let ya know what we are going to do with it. As long as it's ok for now I'd say we can leave it there for a bit, if you have the room. Not sure if Owl want's to have it at his place or not. Guess in the long run depends on when we auction it off and where it's gonna end up. Thanks for your help with the trailer. Margaret

Didn't talk to him today, he had to work yesterday. We were waiting on the same sub station to get started. So his power should have come on when ours did. Was a pain we had no downed lines and still didn't get power till today. Had to wait on another electric company before ours could turn us back on. Actually I was wondering how the folks up north are. Seems like lots of water damage due to flooding up there. Margaret

Well we all got power back this morning at 5:30 am. Woo Hoo!! The phones are working and the internet finally. Oh Nate is here with his 1st gen to get a stator put in. He was eating when I got here, guess inhaler still works for a nickname. Margaret

Well thanks to Beer for letting everyone know about us. We are on generator since about 10 am lost power around 9. We didn't see or hear a tornado but that doesn't mean there wasn't one up in Hertford. We are a bit further towards Edenton and closer to the sound then to Hertford. We'll be fine just waiting for her to get her butt out of here so we can pick up the branches. Did have a pretty big one take out our neighbors fence. No big deal a fence can be fixed. We've had a lot of rain but a bit of a break for now. Haven't heard from ADC but we know he's at a church with his family. Margaret

Looks like Irene might be getting some hot air from GA and SC. Not sure who may be blowing into her, but thanks. She's not going to strengthen and may even weaken some. Still going to get a nice storm surge on the outerbanks and lots of rain for us. Winds won't be near what they had originally said. I'm actually hoping she's gonna fizzle a bit. I think they made way too much out of this in the media, but I guess that's what they do.
