    Wayne, if youhave 1/2 a day to kill and want a real "tourist" experiance. Get to the BC Ferry Terminal and take a ferry over to Vancouver Island and back. You do not have to get off the boat if you do not have time, you can do a round trip and it is like a mini cruise around the coast and the islands.... it is a great ride. Approx 4 hr round trip. But if you do stay a day on the Vancouver Island let me know. Kevin

    My bolt broke when in the garage.... bike fell over onto the shelving unit and stopped 1/2 way over with only some minor scratches. The big problem was to get it back upright from the high side... took me my wife and one large son to do it. Took the stand to the machinist at work... he said...... well that is cr*p..... surprised it did not break sooner on that big thing..... he "fixed" the stand and said..... that will never break.... a bit of extra steel in there and a hardened bolt with a nyloc bolt.

    I have ridden the ultra..... on the group demo like SilverT .... it was ok did not turn me on. Have ridden an 01 and an 09 wing without escort. When I took the 01 back I told the dealer..... I could have been a long way away before you ever reported that stolen. I did very much enjoy the wings but I want to ride a new RSV to compare, bet they are different than the 1st Gen to ride.

    Yes he did....I believe he had a rest day there and one of the cycle shops did an emergency overhaul on the bicycle and fitted him with new shoes..... the pictures with Mr Ignatieff where shot in Barry last summer. He is currently finishing a term at university and starting the his book of the ride. http://www.brainstromride.org

    HEEEEEYYYYYYY !!!!!!! SilvrT, did you not have snow yesterday on the mainland? Flppin cold on the Island.... very icy bicycle ride to work yesterday over here.... snow in the hills.

    I was suprized when you said you had a short summer.... I did not know you had summer up there..... that from a guy on the Wet Coast. But it never rains here so I never get wet when riding......

    Redrider has a 2003 in our classifides... assuming this is not it.... it is a very nice color combo..... just the wrong side of the map for me to think about it. Very nice.... emjoy!

    Around here there is not many places better to be involved in and accedent or have to experiance any emergency than in the districts that have a volunteer brigade. They are #1 in my books! My best buddy has 20 years on his local fire dept., just promoted to lieutenant and has done it all as a volunteer. Talk about devotion!     Some of the school bus drivers I work with (I work for the school district... not a driver)believe it is the best job in the world ! I am on the freedom 95 plan so I wish you the best!

    My son has a Tom Tom in his truck for traveling... he loves it ... it does trafic delay reroutes and weather. BUT.... you gotta know there is more modles that you can shake a stick at..... I say google the modle of the unit to see if it is what you think it is or want. The other side of the coin is.... if you need one and don't have one it is a GREAT deal. The 100$ unit I have will tell me where I am and where I want to arrive at and a route from its' programing.... I cannot plot a route and follow it like many higher end units can do. So it depends on what you need and what you are looking for...... they become addictive... you will soon be using it to find your way to the nearest pub and how to get home from work that you have been able to do for the last 10 years all alone. And does it come with the software for the computor ?

    Passing in the center lane? It is a 2way turning lane... hate to think folks will start using it as a passing lane now. 4way stop.... there is right and wrong but..... I was told if there is a car that is likely to hit you in the drivers door... it gets to go first. Yes I was also told to let the guy on the right go first but I usually let the other car go first in any case... much safer. Mythbusters did the part on hitting the animal on the road.... it don't matter how you brake or hit the animal.... you hit the animal... it will be hurt and your car broken

    We woke to a Tsunami warning today. A few of our water front communities had been evacuated. One of the schools in my district is used as a refuge center for the little community it serves. We are ok, by the time the wave got to the west coast it was very small ( 2 foot). Yes we do always live on the edge waiting for "the big one". All my life we have been told it is coming and Vancouver island is going to fall into the ocean..... Yes.... let us all pray for those that are living in Japan and those that are no longer living because of the earthquake. To all the nations of the world that have help on its way to Japan..... thank you.

    I do know that nothing helps those on chemo more than some "BC Bud" I have never used it for that reason but I have been told by people that do know. As for the headaches and nausea, yup, it will help if not eliminate the issues for you. No, smoking it once will not help, a small amount at a time and relax...... not that I have ever had any experience with such a thing.
