  1. Yup, I'll pretty much echo what was said above. A charger will charge even if the battery is fully charged. It will cook a battery. A Battery Tender, or battery maintainer can be left hooked up. Once the battery is charged, it will shut itself off or lower the amperage down automatically to keep from cooking the battery. I personally have a Schumacher Battery Maintainer from the Evil Empire of Walmart. It was around $20.
  2. Some dropped here in Kentucky as well.
  3. The original and only post in this thread was over a year ago.
  4. 1.1 laps and it's already yellow.
  5. It's a Korean ripoff of the Suzuki SV650. Hyosung is a giant mega-corporation in Korea and has been around for 60+ years and have their fingers in a lot of different pies. http://www.motorcycle.com/shoot-outs/hyosung-gt650-vs-suzuki-sv650-14284.html
  6. This happens on my 99 when I don't change the brake fluid. The lever feels "notchy". I would drain and flush the front brake lines first before I tore anything down.
  7. 15W40 Diesel oil for me. Whatever is cheapest when I need it, usually SuperTech or Rotella T. Rotella T 15W40 and Rotella T6 5W40 are both Jaso MA rated oils for motorcycles.
  8. As the tire wears, the beads will keep the tire in balance. The beads are reusable as well. Spoon the tire off, scoop the beads out, put them in the new tire.
  9. I do believe you meant "you're"
  10. Being called ignorant is not an insult in it's definition. It's merely a lack or knowledge or experience.
  11. 2 or 3 times the mileage compared to a motorcycle tire.
  12. I would put nothing but water in a hydration bladder. No juice, nothing with sugar/high fructose corn jizz, no tea.... Bladders will hold smells and if not cleaned properly, can breed all kinds of nasty things.
  13. yes. All it takes is one massive class action lawsuit to put them out of business. In fact, wasn't WalMart who pulled their house branded baby formula just because a baby somewhere died from a rare bacterial infection even though there was almost no way it was possible for the bacteria to have come from their formuala? http://consumerist.com/2011/12/walmart-pulls-baby-formula-from-shelves-as-precaution-following-death-of-newborn.html In the end, it wasn't from the formula but Im sure Walmart lost a bunch of money from their voluntary recall. http://consumerist.com/2012/01/tests-show-no-connection-between-enfamil-baby-formula-child-deaths.html
  14. You could weld a washer inside the race and hit the washer with the punch/drift.
  15. Try riding from Oklahoma City to Amarillo in June or July. You'll wonder how you made it with only a gallon of water. Dry hot wind eliminates the need to pee.

    Rear Tire

but spoked wheels are designed to use a tube.

    Rear Tire

Sounds like there's corrosion built up on the lip of the wheel. I personally would not run a tube inside of a tubeless tire and wheel.
  18. You really shouldn't mix different brands of oils because they each use their own additives and sometimes the additives do not mix very well.
  19. Harley has a special edition every 5 years including 100th. The only special edition 2nd gen that I recall is the 2000 year model, "Millennium", cream and tan colors with individually numbered ID plates.

    GUNS

KelTec Sub2000 rifles are chambered in 9mm and 40Short and Wimpy..err...40S&W... They are also built to use different magazines. GLK17, GLK19, S&W59, BERETTA92, SIG226. I had one in 9mm that used Glock mags. It folds in half and fits in the saddlebag or the trunk on a 2nd Gen. http://www.keltecweapons.com/our-guns/rifles/sub-2000/
  21. no no no no no no no no... It was a Ford problem of under inflating the tires to get a better ride. It was also a problem of people who think that top heavy vehicles handle as well as Indy cars at highway speeds. The tires had the proper pressure on the sidewall. Ford put a lower pressure in the door jamb.
  22. Because Explorers are like dogs and like to roll over.
  23. If I remember correctly, the boots are rubber on the outside and steel on the inside.
  24. I was referring to his earlier comment about drilling the frame.
